You know, grades honestly don't matter too much. Just as long as they don't get really bad....
Colleges are pretty leniant about that stuff. They are more interested in certain test scores, your credentials, and your extra-curricular activities (cause they love go-getters.)

Well, good for you. I'm not really the outdoorsy type. As I said, I like Architecture. Particularly Imperial Japan. I LOVE Shinto shrines, and especially the Golden Pavilion. I just love Japan period. I would also like to walk the Trail of the Samurai, even though it'd probably kill me.

As I said: it's just a contest. BTW, you are/were the adventerous type, aren't/weren't you?

Well, for one, the island looks so... flat. It could use some texture. Another thing: shading. I know you are limited as to what you can do, but some things, like the lilypad, could use a bit tuning up. It looks flat. Most lilypads have some ridges to them. I understand the comic/anime-esque look, but even cartoons have subtle hints at both organic and inorganic flaws. A good comparison would be your trees. The big one shows that it isn't even throughout, not just by the defining lines, but also the shadow cast by the larger branches onto the smaller ones. I hope you get what I'm saying. I know you are an AMAZING artist, but one big diffference between your spriting and this drawing is the attention to detail. I know this particular drawing is in like Lambda stage, but in order for it to finally make Omega, your accute attention is needed. I know it's just an online contest, but I seem to sense your the kinda person who is passionate about your work, and are always trying to improve yourself. I'm the same way, except I'm more of an architectual, designer type of artist.

Vannah, who exactly is the girl in your PixelArt Contest entry? BTW, it is pretty good. May I make a suggestion for improvements?
