And yeah, I could say that, but given that you already said it yourself that statement has lost quite a bit of its impact already. As for that thread...actually, the sign-up threads have been pretty low-activity all the way down the road with Y.Z. Sure, people post skeletons, but very few of them ever get a healthy set of meat on their bones. It's pretty much just us three staffies actually doing anything in that RP. (Not to say that that isn't fun, though XD)

That's very true about the RP masters. I think it's like, they've seen that phrase in some veteran RPer's plot, though it looked neat and then just slapped it on their own for brownie points. Same with the 'all RP section rules' clause. Five bucks say the majority of the peoples happily jotting it down don't even know the rules they're refering to. :< Yeah, you should only set rules you actually intend to follow, imo. Another thing that bugs me is when the RP master lays down some kind of restriction for characters only to blatantly bypass it themselves. Now I don't mind it when it's for plot reasons (needing a bigger/tougher chara to act as a guide or mentor or such) but when it's just to ensure that the RP master's chara gets to be the coolest kid on the block...

And no, I don't do LJ. Did a little venting session with my PC blog, but really...that's about as much hassle as I'm about to get into with such things in the near future. PC is so much like LJ these days anyway that I don't really see a need to pop over to a different site. XD

Did I give my pass away?There has only been one person on PC who was on the Staff that was stupid enough to give their pass over to someone who they didn't know or trust... I'm sure you can understand that that person isn't on the Staff anymore.
The "hacker" started a thread about zipcodes and so I was trying to help the person and thus I used mine as an example. And in turn that person used that to get on my email (along with guessing my question), and from there my PC account.


I wouldn't give up hope on getting a blog on PC. It's just right now we're trying to keep the numbers low, and trying to get everything worked out.

No, my account really was hacked.

Like I said, like Steve said... nothing is set in stone. Who knows how low we'll go with with the post count thing (I still think it should be up there... 2,000 or 3,000 posts). Look at it this way. Right now we have about 30 people that posted at least one blog post (there are 62 entries in total), that's a small number for something new. If we lowered it to say.... 500 posts, don't you think that thing would have been filled up with lots and lots and lots of random blog posts? It's something new so they want to try it out and say "OMG I made a blog post on PC!". That's one of the reasons why we wanted to set the bar so high (at least at first).
