My family were watching The Simpsons about 5 years ago, and we started to have a chat. That chat was why is there so much suffering in the world. If there was a god, why would he be making us in America and Europe have so much, but have 5-year olds starving in Africa, people in the Middle East having to live in constant fear of war, and the people of China and Russia being abused so much by there government. If there is a god why would he have preferences? Shouldn't everyone in the world be treated the same? After about a two hour conversation we all reached an agreement that god doesn't exist, and if a god does a exist he is a bastard for having preferences, and allowing children starving, and people being killed in pointless wars.
And I feel said that you don't believe that evolution is real. :( There is enough evidence to say it is real, even when I had a religion I thought evolution was real, but getting away from that.
I have to say that you should open your mind a bit more. You are one of those that would be making fun of my club that me and my friends are making, a Non-Christian club. A confidential club where people can come and meet fellow non-Christians, and make friends with people who will not discriminate, because we will all the the same, a minority.
Anyway offering to take me to church is like offering a brownie to someone who is trying to be on a diet. It makes you seem like a jerk, but like I said earlier I hope we can become friends some day.
