  • Takes away the enemy's shield, which I'll need. I suck at that game, haha.

    Did you cry?
probably; you were, apparently, online for like 24 hours. i got new hp boxes to show you, though :D
Well, you get a shield snatcher for finding them, so it's definitely worth it.

You should keep playing omg. :(
Ah. I don't know much about anime so...

Alrighty. I'm off to face the Elite four with the following team:
    Infernape Lv. 54
    Staraptor Lv. 56
    Golduck Lv. 56
    Luxray Lv. 54
    Lucario Lv. 55
    Dialga Lv. 52

I'm just getting my hold items all arranged and then I'm off! I haven't really looked at the pokémon that I'll be facing so the only thing I have to go on is what I remember from the last time I challenged them more than two years ago. This should be fun! :D

edit: HEY! You there! Yes, you. Remember that time when you made fun of me for using a Golduck? Yeah, SCREW YOU. Here's a play-by-play of the first part of my battle against Cynthia:

blah blah blah... Spiritomb falls to Dialga's Dragon Pulse.
Cynthia wants to send in Garchomp. Do you want to switch?
Hm, Dialga took a few Psychics from Spiritomb and lost about 1/4-1/3 of his health so I'll get some fresh legs in. Go Golduck!
Golduck takes a Brick Break and lives with 110/165. Then he retaliates with an Ice Beam that knocks Garchomp down to the tiniest sliver*. Garchomp's Sitrus Berry restores health so that he's out of the Full Restore-using range so I go for another Ice Beam. Garchomp uses Earthquake. Guess what? Golduck lives a STAB, 130 base Attack Earthquake with 2/165. WHAT NOW?! Oh yeah, and the Ice Beam finished him off. :rambo:

Anyways, so Golduck is pretty much a beast. Living a STABed Earthquake while being 9 levels lower than Garchomp is pretty awesome, imho. The rest of the battle was a breeze until I hit Lucario, which is funny because my Lucario didn't do jack squat throughout the entire Elite Four. I had to use two Max Revives just to get past him.

    Props:
Golduck for being a mother-frickin' TANK
Staraptor for netting tons of kills throughout the entire run. I had to use two Leppa Berries on his Close Combat because I was using it so much. That's right, two. I didn't even have to use a single Leppa Berry on either Infernape or Lucario's Close Combat, despite both having STAB, because I was using Staraptor so much. So pro, man (edit: oh yeah, and he also lived a ThunderPunch from Infernape too)
Luxio, the unsung hero. He didn't make any outstanding kills or dominate an entire battle but he was a consistent team player who got his fair share of kills spread out over the course of the entire run and he lived some pretty powerful Earthquakes, too

    Flops:
Lucario for doing practically nothing. He might have been able to take out Bronzong if it weren't for Mr. Mime's Reflect still being up but even then, he came in on Bronzong when it was at less than half health and he still couldn't beat it. So much for all that training

    * I can't tell you how many times I took my opponent down to the red with just one hit. I swear, if I had spent an extra hour training and had gotten everybody up 2 levels each, all those close ones would be OHKOs and I could have beaten the Elite Four while taking half the damage.
