Obviously you don't know what you're talking about. People create engines for flashcarts all the time for different types of DS games, just check out GBATemp. A Pokemon engine is far from impossible. Of course it wouldn't be as completely perfect as official Pokemon games, but that doesn't mean they can't create a functional system for the DS to be used with flashcarts. I don't appreciate you taking your position as moderator so seriously that you think you can tell people they aren't able to do something tons of people have already done. Homebrews are extremely common these days, you don't need a PHD to do it (Which you don't even know if the OP has, btw). So yeah, get off your high horse.
