Definitely, Brian's in the 55. Since his first race with the team last year where he led like, 100+ laps at Bristol and finished in the top 5 and was competitive every time he was in the car. I agree he does seem to be doing better in the Cup cars, especially at tracks he hadn't traditionally run well at. xD Which I love seeing, after his health scare in 2010 that really screwed with him and wasn't able to do a whole lot for his last year at Red Bull. Mikey's cars are competitive now and he'll do great over there.

Yeah, I think Elliott and Regan will get past that run-in at Loudon; I think he was just a little hot under the collar since he was racing for the Dash4Cash bonus and whatnot and it was a green-white-checkered; everyone's pushing the issue there. But Regan's awesome, Junior's cars are getting more and more competitive and he's gonna be there going down the stretch.

Oh cool! I can't recall if Lofton's supposed to run more races I wanna say I heard yes... but yup they are going road course racing this year :3 September 1st's the date.

I think they both can. Truex had a long day at Indy today coming from 38th and while he finished 11th it was still a great run for him on a track hard to pass. He's got some more opportunities for wins, especially on the 1.5 milers (Atlanta in particular, almost won there last year) and I think Tony can get into the top 10 in points. It'd definitely take a serious blowup for them to get knocked out of chase contention.

Speaking of Indy, catch the races this weekend? :P

He is :) his team is right there now, right in striking distance of the points lead, starting to click those top 5s off.. I think he's gonna challenge for his first win of the year on Saturday at IMS. And I agree, this year's title fight so far has been great. 6 drivers within a race worth of points from the lead.. for a while I thought it was gonna be Regan and Sam, now Elliott is starting to gel with his new team at JGR, Vickers is starting to heat up, Austin has caught back up.. I dunno who to take now (but I'd love to see Austin or Regan Smith).

Road courses, definitely! Trucks are finally going road course racing in September (Canadian Tire Motorsport Park), Nationwide has two in August (Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen) and Cup at the Glen. I'd definitely love to see another road course, maybe two, for the Cup schedule. Sonoma WAS great, loved seeing Truex finally get that win. I think he has another one in him before the Chase starts, and if he doesn't get back into the top 10 that'll make the wild card race interesting for sure.

Haha yep, been an Earnhardt fan for life. :) I've got 3, 8 and 88 stuff all over my walls! Tony is awesome too; I knew he could turn his bad start to the season around when the calendar turned over into summer.
