Lol, back when I was on staff I jokingly modded myself in the higher staff forum and someone decided to put me back as moderator there even if I'm not staff anymore. I can't see anything that goes on there, it just shows up in my profile. :P

And well, hard to put a number on it. Probably too much, part of it is just free time and if something comes up that needs doing, I act on it. And then there's various discussions 'behind the scenes' about new mods, changing this or that, etc. Each mod basically has their own amount of time needed to do their role, varies from section to section, rank to rank. And also fluctuates on top of that, haha.

I suppose being a super mod helps? =p Idk about 'really' popular though.

You can edit it from Options or Settings from your User Control Panel. You can make it so that no one can view your profile, or just friends/contacts.

The Beginner's Lounge was created to replace the Simple Questions thread. So you can post a new thread there with screenshots/information of your problem and you can get help.

Well I usually just keep the levels of the trainers in the game I'm editing, then adjust accordingly when I play through the game.

Well if all you have is an idea, you can always start off by posting a thread in the Beginner's Lounge.

Sure! Although I'm not very skilled with ROM Hacking, I'd probably be a bit more skilled in NDS ROM Hacking, but the only things I'd be mostly good at... is either inserting files into the ROM, or even just simply testing out the ROM. I progress extremely slowly with 3D modeling, because I'm just simply not skilled at it, especially when I'm working on the 3D map of Littleroot Town.

Well I didn't mean to say by "not really knowing you" that I have no idea who you are or anything because I did remember that we had talked before. But the thing was that I had no idea what that was about and besides, I'm just not interested about chit chatting about general pokemon related stuff. It's just not my thing.


I do spend a little bit of time helping others though :)


And no need to feel sorry for contacting me either! I'm a social person in every way but there are just subjects there that I don't feel like talking about in general (like pokemon games that is). I guess it just relies on what kind of a situation you are in life and that's not my thing anymore - I could have talked about pokemon stuff 3 or 4 years ago but nowadays, I don't find any interest in it. The two main reasons for DE being based on Silver are the facts that pokemon hacks are popular and I knew people would play my hack if it was a pokemon hack (comparing to a hack based on a general RPG game for instance). Another reason was because lots of great documentation Tauwasser and Koolboyman made in the past.


But yeah... you don't have to be "afraid" of talking or anything, or embarrassed by any means either :) We can talk about general things if you like, but I'm just not a person who likes to talk about pokemon or that sort of things. These days my focus in mainly on bowling (wanting to become a professional one day, no idea if that ever happens or not), IT studies and I spend rest of my spare time by just hanging around with others.

Well I don't really have anything extraordinary to tell about DE; haven't worked on it in a long time but I may get more stuff done this summer. The thing is that there are other things that are more important to me and they "go in DE's way".


I didn't know a thing about rom hacking in general before year 2010 - that's when the real "hacking career" began :)

Besides, sometimes you don't feel like responding to messages your friends have sent you immediately either. So why I'm saying this is that you should learn some patience.

Yeah, after we merged with PHO we pretty much stopped doing anything over at Celadon Mansion/Twilight Hacking.

And yep, that's why there are two different Skeetendo forums that have a lot of threads in common. When we moved to hax.iimarck.us IImarckus ran this script thing to copy all of the existing topics over to the new forum so it wouldn't be starting from scratch.
