  • But in the applymovement, is there an option to change the character sprite for one riding a Pokémon (like Surf hoping and the Waterfall slide)?
Also, are you able to call Rock Climb from the party menu (via that blue option)?

Hey! Do you know how to edit the rival's overworld and palletes when you name him in Pokémon FireRed?

    Please help me ASAP.
Hey GoGo, I wanted to ask you. First, these two questions I asked before.
Also, for the tiles for Rock Climb and the animation. Did you create you own tiles? Or you used someone's?
And how do you make an animation for hopping, sliding and hoping out of the rock again?
Ok I see what you mean.. You would have to modify the hardware. That won't happen but thanks for clarifying
I think I'll need to create a routine for calling Rock Climb from the blue party menu option, and change the pointer of Flash in the field effects table to this routine.
That would be the easy part, changing the pointers. I swapped the places of the attacks 'cause I couldn't work with this blue option in the first place.
Making a routine to call Rock Climb from the party menu I avoided will be a nightmare, if that's the solution.
Didn't understand. Calculating how many rocks he'd have to slide would happen only after the attack was selected from the menu. But if the menu is thinking that that attack was Flash, it wouldn't even start this calculation.
So basically, we don't change the field effect, we just check for the attack and use it, if it is there?
If you try to use Rock Climb from the menu in front of a climbable rock, it won't work?
Oh hai der. So I came to a point where I needed to expand playable tracks, and I remember reading your tutorial a while back that the max was 16. Why is this the max? Is there any possible way to go over this limit? I kind of need 24. ~Thanks >:I
(Didn't I tell you I'd have another question?)
Yeah, that's what I meant. I was afraid Rock Climb would be able to execute Flash's field effect, cause I'm swapping their positions.
    Apparently, nothing to worry, right?
