Yeah, I really hope I can get a Heracross. It's overpowered, sure (Marriland gave it 5* in the review on his walkthrough), but i'm not opposed to that in this challenge, I just don't want to litter my entire team with them (currently the only one on my team i'd say is blatantly overpowered is Egypt). It certainly helps that I still have a handful of Net Balls to try on one.

True, I did feel kinda bad skipping the Altaria, but without Dragon Claw before post-game it's not very exciting, and not helping was how low on Poké Balls I was (and a 45 catch rate). I even remember when Marriland struggled to catch one when he played the Japanese version back in mid-2012. And sadly, with that Staryu having a hideous nature and ability (Naughty and Illuminate), it's not likely that i'll use it. I will say right now that I do catch something in the next part - not the thing I was hoping for but still something that could be fun.

At least i'm excited to finally evolve Egypt. I might use a Rare Candy once she hits Level 47, because she'll learn Earthquake early at Level 48. Too bad the trainers on Route 12 won't be nice to her at all (I remember two Fighting-type trainers and a double battle with two Roselia, which is not inviting).

I don't really see how popularity of the band would cause people to vote for the entry :P I think most of the people vote for what they think sounds the best, no matter if the band or song is popular... At least, that's how I'm hoping they vote.

Overall, I could care less about how many points I have. I use the radio jam as an outlet to show people artists/songs they might not have heard before, because I love to show people music and hopefully open their horizons to all different types of music. Not only that, I get to listen and learn about a whole group or artists/songs each week and explore them more :) It's a great way to find music.
