  • Doing fine for the most part. I relocated back to CA temporarily with the family. Roy and I are on a break from our relationship, so I packed 50% of my stuff and moved back home. (we're fine, quarantine is just not for us lmao)

Immediately upon arriving I ended up with the dang 'rona anyway. My mom had it first due to an outbreak at her job. Then it started to invade myself and the other members of the family. It's not fun. We're all okay now. I am on day 7 of the illness and I've been fever free for two days...let's hope it stays that way.

Uh...Florida is a shitshow last I heard. Y'all have a shit governor lmao
    Makes sense to me :)

I'm hanging on I guess. Times are tough, but my head's above the water. How are you doing? I'm always here if you ever need a shoulder to lean on.
How's it going? Would you like me to redirect "Stay with us forever" over to your kingdom Internet & Technology? it's cool with me in Off-Topic, or in IT. Whichever.

    Take care,

    -Sam
    dude...I'm almost 30...

I am one year closer to bonking little kids with a wooden cane.
Oh yeah, I know some Computer Science majors who find it really difficult to get through their degree because it just requires so much math and attention. Once they reach their senior year, they disappear because they have to dedicate to so much work. Have you even tried getting a job on campus?
Dude! That's awesome! Is that the same one taking place at the George R Brown in downtown? I'm in downtown 65% of the week LOL.

I'm sorry to hear that university did not work out for you. Hopefully you can go back. What made you decide it wasn't for you? In the meantime since you have your AS you should think about certifications, if you have any. Those can open doors.

I'm in the media field now. I went back to my original major which is Communications/Journalism. Got my AA in Communications, now going for my BA. Worked for a PR firm then moved on to bigger things. I work for a campus newspaper and currently interning at one of the local news stations. So my 2020 is looking bright!
Fate brought us back together for a reason...well several! What are you going to Houston for? Need any recs?

I needed to get crap together, so I took a year off, it seemed like it. Finally doing what I love right now.

Well since I'm back I might as well make one. xD
