That match up and others like it is exactly what MvC is all about! It's a great series of games, I'd recommend Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 as the best game in the series and also best for new players. I've used every character in it so I have played as Phoenix Wright, he fights in quite a hilarious way as he's not super violent himself, slipping and falling all over the place if I remember correctly and he also has a spirit detective woman come out and cast spells.

Yes shiny gold was one of my favs back then, it's probably what brought me here too! lol. I'm surprised you've never tried one! I saw a Nexomon thread here on PC, I thought about making a Monster Sanctuary one too as I hadn't seen one for it. I'd definitely recommend them too they're great titles, there seems to be a trend in indie gaming atm to make more monster taming/raising games and I'm so here for it! A lot of the ones I've tried have been great! Duel Links is super popular, pretty sure it's Konami's biggest money maker atm!

Maplestory and Genshin are both games I tried out and gave a fair chance but just couldn't get into! Ace Attorney I've been meaning to play for a long time just haven't got around to yet! I've played Marvel VS Capcom and Project X Zone which AA's characters appear in, alongside a huge cast of other capcom characters ofc.
I'm actually wanting to check out and play some new Pokemon rom hacks soon been years since I've even looked into what there is, used to love the rom hacking scene here back in 2006-2010ish lol. Outside of Pokemon I've recently loved two other "monster taming" titles Nexomon (1&2) & Monster Sanctuary and currently Yugioh Duel Links on my mobile is consuming my life haha.

They might not be as good as I remember with my nostalgia goggles but I definitely had fun with them as a kid and enjoyed revisiting too, but going in without having played in your childhood could be a very different experience lol. What games do you play? (besides, I'd assume, pokemon haha)

That's ironic as it's when I bowed out before even starting the next book lol! I did used to love the Harry potter games on the GBC and played some on my old PC too!

I think I lost interest back then tbh, I don't think I enjoyed Goblet of Fire as much as the first 3 despite being super excited for it, and then same thing with OotP. I remember having the first book of the next one Half blood prince which (I think) was split into two like the last one, but I just never got around to starting it, I actually recently gave my copy away lol as I had a big clear out and got rid of a lot of stuff. It had basically sat around here since its release untouched so not surprising it found it's way into a bunch of other books and comics I donated to a local school's library. Hopefully they get more use out of it than I did!

I liked HP too but don't think I read past Order of the Phoenix, I did enjoy all the movies tho, the first 3 particularly are super nostalgic for me

Kuromi is my gf's fav so I'm always seeing her lol, and she likes Pompompurin too! I'm more of a Gudetama & Badtz-maru kinda guy myself :P .
