Okay I've been really busy for two days what the hell is going on?

Night Two​

An interesting choice.

Soichiro Yagami couldn't deny that they had been looking into Netto Azure after the previous day, but their investigations had turned out quite the opposite of what they had been expecting. The man had no affiliation with Kira whatsoever, as far as they could tell. Still, they'd taken him in for questioning, and for now he was to stay behind bars. They couldn't take any chances with this investigation.

The fruitful part of the day had been the questioning of the man they'd apprehended the day previous.

"Do you know anything about Kira or the people he's been targeting?"

L watched the screen as a member of the task force carried out the interrogation.

"I know he does good. He deletes those that are no longer worthy of living!"

This man was certainly enthusiastic, L had to give him that.

"Do you know anything about how Kira kills?"

The man was fidgeting. L watched his movements. He didn't seem to be in a healthy state of mind, that was for sure. And he certainly had an intense admiration for Kira. It was as if he worshiped him. No, he did worship him. To him, Kira was a god righting the wrongs of the world.

How interesting.

"I know that he doesn't need to lay a hand on the ones he deletes. They wouldn't deserve that grace!"

"So you don't know who Kira is?"

The man grimaced. It almost seemed like he was insulted by the question. No, it seemed more like a glimpse of envy. He wanted to know who Kira was, but he didn't. He'd told them everything that he knew by now.

L pressed the button in front of him and spoke.

"He won't be of any further use. Escort Mr. Mikami back to his cell."

At the very least, they'd put away one of Kira's fanatical followers. And L could see that this man was a potential danger.

And a potential tool.

This only brought them one step closer to finding Kira.​

Netto Azure has been apprehended. He was a member of the Populace.​

• If you have a night action and opt to not use it for the night, the action must still be sent in as such—simply not sending the PM will count as missing it.
• In the event of a tie in the votes, the player to die will be picked by the most recently killed player. If this is not applicable, the death will be decided at random.

Due to some deeply concerning personal circumstances (read: I need sleeeeeeeeeep), I shall be extending this phase for roughly twelve hours (read: when I'm awaaaaaaaaake)

And for those of you that haven't sent in your night actions, please do so asap! And remember, if you don't want to use your night actions, you should still pm me saying as such!

Day Three​

Kira's influence was beginning to take a stronger hold.

"Did you see that Takada woman on TV? The way she spoke about Kira . . . maybe she's right."

"You mean to tell me that you agree with what that maniac is doing?"

"Well, he's only killed criminals so far. Who's to say that he's not on our side?"

"If you say so, man, but I'm not buying it."

The two figures walked off to continue their menial lives.

Light sat by a fountain, contemplating his newest kill. He thought it was probably a bit too theatrical, but perhaps that would help keep L off of his scent. It wasn't really Light's style, after all.

He watched as, across the street, a man took a sip of his wine. He briefly heard another person praising Kira, with someone else responding in disbelief. He couldn't help but crack a slight smile. Things were going rather smoothly.

The man he was watching began to choke on his wine. He clutched at his throat with one hand, grasping the wine glass in the other. As his complexion began to turn a slight blue from the oxygen deprivation, he smashed the wine glass against a table and used one of its shards to slit his left wrist. He proceeded to write the words "For Teru" on the restaurant's wall in his own blood.

Light was correct. It was a bit too theatrical, but it was interesting. He turned his head as Misa walked over to him.

"That business man you were looking at? I got his name for you."

Light nodded. He went with Misa towards the train station, where they parted ways. He realized as he boarded the train that he was being followed by the FBI agent from the bus crash.

Raye Penber. What did he want now?

Across town, a man was packing his things in a rush. "I need to get out of here ASAP," he said, handing his apartment keys to the new tenant. "Have fun in this shit hole!"

With that, he was gone, and Tokyo's newest resident entered his new home.​

Ash is dead. She was a Justice.​

Ryo has left the game.​

So, um, question, I guess: If Klippy revealed his role earlier as "Near" I think, why isn't he dead? Wouldn't the Mafia be all over that?​

I think this confirms gio was Teru afterall. :) And I agree with whomever said it earlier, but it looks like Misa found Kyosuke Higuchi - The Businessman.

Does anyone have any leads as to who may actually be an Idealist at this point? We could try going after Jupiter since Netto was justice. But that could hurt us as well. :/ I'm still slightly suspect of Nimsy though.

edit: And Kiyo, I don't think Klippy died because of the protecter role saving him on night 1. And on night 2 Kira went after Ash instead

Okay I'm going to make a quick clarification on pledging

each night, a few players are given an alignment. This alignment is not set in stone unless the player chooses to "pledge" to that alignment the following night phase. If a player does not pledge, then their alignment can still change.

I'm not really sure what else I can make clear.

If this is true, he definitely did slip up. But that just means he had a night action. It doesn't mean he's not an innocent.

Also, this is sort of meta-gaming, so voting/acting based on this doesn't really sit well with me, since not everyone here is necessarily in the chat and therefore it can't be verified :x

I don't want to jump on this just yet. I think it might instead be worthwhile to go through the previous votes and see who voted for whom. It seems to me like the Idealists have a hard time doing night kills, due to the mechanics of the game, so they're heavily relying on creating bandwagons during the day to get their kills.

As such, quoting people for things they said in the Skype chat to use as evidence is also against the rules. I cannot stop mistakes that happen outside the thread, but using it to affect the game is somewhat unfair. And it was not necessary for Absol used bite! to point it out in the first place.
