Hi GamerGrant,
Thanks for the feedback! The Crests aren't the same as badges. The game is still a Pokemon game, with Pokemon gym leaders, the Pokemon Leagues. etc. The only difference is one day all the Pokemon disappeared and were replaced with Digimon instead. It's helpful to think of Digimon Nova Red as Digimon in the Pokemon world, rather than Pokemon trainers in the Digimon World.
Changing the sprites to Digivices was literally just an effort thing. Lots of Digimon don't have those minisprites available, so in the old version I had to make a lot of them myself. Too much effort for 100 more honestly lol
Hi EmiyaShirou525,
Not a bad idea! No idea how to program that but I'll keep it in mind.
Hi vipwesley,
Ooh, you're going to have to start over. Version 2.0 is so different from version 1. It's not supposed to be an "update patch;" it's a whole new game.
I'm devastated to hear about A.Kazemon since it's one of my more favourite sprites! In my play test there were no problems... I hope I can find a way to fix that. :(
Like you said, the enemy Lilithmon is a bit lacking. In my opinion, so is the Paildramon and Garudamon sprites... but hey, 3 out of 250 ain't bad. At some point I may try and update these three Digimon sprites.
Hi Izanagi-no-Bisharp,
I guess I could do that, but wouldn't that take the fun out of the game? I think the fun of a whole new set of original mons is to play and discover them for yourself. But if you really want I can whip one up for you.
In the meantime I can say the Base Stats are more or less something like this:
If a Digimon has 5 forms, its Base Stats will look something like this: 310 > 380 > 450 > 520 > 590
Digimon with 4 forms: 340 > 410 > 480 > 550
Digimon with 3 forms: 390 > 450 > 510
Baby Digimon (Yuramon, Kuramon, Mokumon, Pichimon, Sunmon, Moonmon) are weak as hell but will grow up to wreck sh*t.
