    Are there any exclusives in these games you think should have absolutely been in both games? Or any Pokemon you think should have been an exclusive rather than just found anywhere?

    The list goes as follows:

    GOLD: Sandshrew, Sandslash, Mankey, Primeape, Growlithe, Arcanine, Spinarak, Ariados, Teddiursa, Ursaring, Mantine, Gligar

    SILVER: Ekans, Arbok, Vulpix, Ninetales, Meowth, Persian, Ledyba, Ledian, Phanpy, Donphan, Delibird, Skarmory

    I felt it was incredibly odd to compare gligar to skarmory - as it seems that they chose to make Skarmory an exclusive Flying/Steel type to match Gligar being a Flying/Ground type. They were very different Pokemon and hardly comparable.

    I also didn't quite understand why Ledyba and Spinarak were an exclusive, that one really made no sense. That's like telling someone that Caterpie and Weedle were version exclusive. I guess they were getting the format together and figuring things out still.
