[Sweet Serenity]

Hi there,
I am seeking a meal tonight
That I cooked up to ease my plight
A dinner to cajole my senses
When hunger for noesis dispenses
Nutrition packed with gentle urging
All to keep my mental surging
With food for thought

I seek a hot dish and garnished
For when my food wish is tarnished
It fills up this belly of the beast
And churns my mind after I feast
Then egest waste of ignorant bliss
And flush it all into endless abyss

I seek a plate filled with cravings
Of injectable nutrients worth saving
A plate that caters to my tastes
Giving me fuel to improve in haste
Mental famine is my core to stress
I need food for thought for more to digest

I seek a dish coated in extra seasoning
One that satiates the body with reasoning
So the world's issues are easy to digest
The meal can be bitter, but I digress
Packing rations to be more rational
Share the recipe to be more national

I seek food not of pig and bull
But wisdom keeping my mind big and full
That will cure all my aches and pains
And I'm joyed as it shapes my brain
I begin anew with the mood it brought
As I fill my body with food for thought

I seek a dish not of vegetables
As thought is equally delectable
Seeking food for thought's an odd mission
Served up by a chef of cognition
For we can all use some greater thinking
I can feel my ignorance later shrinking

I seek a dish not of fruit and seed
But knowledge to learn the truth indeed
Improve my vision of savvy with insight
Fueling my mind enough to begin flight
Tasty sweet noshes to clear confusion
Ignorance becomes but a mere illusion

I am seeking breakfast served in time
In early mornings to urge my mind
It gives me victuals to build and grow
Showing me that it's a thrill to know
Rather than just remain a believer
It's the nutrition that trains an achiever

I am seeking lunch served in earnest
Giving energy that burns like furnace
This keeps me stable in the afternoon
As I know my mind grows faster soon
I may meet my impending doom
With no food to fill this empty room

I seek supper to supplement my mental
Cast my system of junk that's detrimental
Hunger for logic's so great I'm starved
I both had and ate my cake I carved
Sweet rations leave the foolish deserted
I wish for enlightenment; I truly deserve it

With that said,
I am finishing my meal tonight
I feel it right, mind loaded with real insight
Seeking food for thought, look no further
Where I work as both cook and server
Now my mind is ready for potential learning
And eliminate my mind's detrimental urgings
With food for thought​
