Let's just say I watched the first episode of this and was NOT EXPECTING what I saw. Because this is the first thread I see for this series and I'm not sure how many people are watching it, please remember to put all spoilers in tags!!​

Teacher girl is dead already, it was pretty obvious from episode 2 but they sure do like dragging it out. Not that I mind, she's nice to have around despite not actually being real.

I've been enjoying it a lot, more than any other new show this season. Though this season hasn't shown me any 8/10 quality, this and Working S3 have been pretty good. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets even better, I'd actually be more shocked if it got worse. I knew what I was getting into before I started because people like to drop 'teh subtle hints' that are completely obvious to everyone. First episode still shocked me though, definitely well done execution despite me knowing the premise already.

I really like this one as well, so much so that I actually started reading the manga and I like it as well.

I didn't watch the first episode that closely, but I was actually really close to dropping it. I noticed the barricade and was like "ok that's weird" but didn't think much of it. I pulled up its MAL page so I could add it to my dropped list and I see "Related anime: Corpse Party - Tortured Souls" and was like oookaaayyyy and decided to stick with it lol.

I can understand dropping something after one episode, but I've never heard of someone so eager to drop something mid episode lol

There's also the grave on the roof, actual visible lone zombies outside during the birds eye view, writing on the chalk board saying something like 'help me' and Miki's reaction to a lot of things. I think there's also a scene where you can see the smashed windows early on.

Manga seems to run on a different plotline since the first chapter and first ep has some visible differences...
Especially Mii-kun.

I think they're just going in a different order, but the most important things are the same almost. Especially because the most recent episodes were flashbacks, it's just that instead of having these first we had these in the middle.

I was fortunate enough to be oblivious to anything related to this show and decided to pick this up after seeing it getting 1000 upvotes on the first episode on reddit

Let me say that the ending of the first episode really caught me off guard. I noticed a few clues throughout the episode and thought how weird they were but didn't think much about them. Definitely worth rematching later to notice how everything pieces together.

I love the cinematic choices made during the second episode. The music, facial expressions and sudden blackouts during the zombie stabbing scene were more dramatic because of the great atmosphere. Heck I think it was more frightening when the violence wasn't shown as you'd have to use your imagination.

I think this could be AOTS for sure
