Hey there, I come to you all in a time of need:
I'm trying to figure out what every real-life counterpart of every offshore island in Hoenn is. Using Bulbapedia I managed to figure out most of them, but Everdgrande being Okinawa is what complicates things. Now I have no idea whether the islands between Evergrande and Pacifidlog are based on those south of Okinawa or are they based on the islands just south of Yakushima. The shape for Battle Frontier and the island east of it fit pretty well to those near Okinawa, but when it comes to positioning and the number of them, the other group fits better.
If anyone can give their 2 cents on the matter, I'd be grateful!
