    25 Minutes! My last chance to ques. Box Legends are Zygarde and anti-Zygarde, that will probably be false, but a man can dream. Laugh if I lose, I love to live dangerously in the internet kind of way.

    I am not 100% sure if that was the full map. If it is, it looks like it could be north of Kalos.

    It looks like customization returns as well.

    • I'm pretty sure the new Alola region is going to be distant from the others, so probably no Kalos revisit. But that's just my first impression since a lot of the recent new regions have been distant from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh.

    Definitely the full map. It's a massive island and looks pretty neat! the trailer was amazing! Masuda definitely lived up to his promise!

    Masuda said a while ago that the story of XY would be wrapped up in a unique way. I am still thinking it is connecting to Kalos. He also said in the same thing 'Flowers' which was Hawaii. And the South Route is broken. It isn't surrounded in rocks like most water routes. It continues. If we start in the South, it would be a great throw back. Not to mention this is the 20th Ann Game.

    There is still a lot of unsolved things in XY, I do not think they would brush it all aside. Plus, in the anime, Sawyer has 3 badges not in Kalos. Fire and Water. I think he also may have a flying. Which seems to match this region a bit.

    Gary also had 6 badges not in the Kanto games (He had a total of 10 badges and only 4 of his badges were known to Kanto games), not to mention there were about four other trainers that showed unidentified badges in the first season. It's pretty well known that regions have more than 8 gyms in the Anime and we never really see all the gyms available let alone cities.

    I don't think Alola has anything to do with Kalos and if the backpacker is to be believed, then Alola is no where near Kalos making traveling back to Kalos a bit of a chore if even possible.

    That was the first season. Ever since then, they have planned things well and done things on purpose. You are comparing a show that has evolved a ton in 20 years. The anime was never supposed to pass the Kanto Region originally. So they didn't plan like they do now.

    It also happened in Hoenn. Morrison had an unknown 8th Gym badge. Barry in Sinnoh had three unknown Gym badges. Nando had two of Barry's badges as well in the same series. Trip in the BW series had three unknown badges in Unova. Cameron shared two of Trip's badges and had another unknown badge.

    So no actually this is a reoccurring incident in the anime. It looks as if only Johto didn't have someone with extra badges.
