• Who will be the protagonists?
Brennen and May, of course.
What role will Wally play?
Wally will play the same role that he played in the originals.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will be the Sootopolis City Gym, giving Steven his E4 status back, while Wallace acts as a supporting character leading up to the Kyogre/Groudon event, and most likely Wallace will give the player one of the mega stones if made available for either legendary.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
I do not believe there will be.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Yes, Scott will continue to be the owner of the Battle Frontier.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Rayquaza will have the same role as in the originals.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Both of their typings would stay the same, as well as their abilities, but they would obtain signature moves, most likely something that has to do with their weather effects.
— their roles in the games will be?
Mega Kyogre and Mega Groudon would most likely be unleashed by Team Aqua and Team Magma, and they will escape to Sootopolis to cause havoc there.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
I believe it is fully possible that the orbs could be their mega stones.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Well, Sapphire you will only be able to catch Kyogre and Rayquaza, while in Ruby you would be able to catch Groudon and Rayquaza.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Some, not all of them, and some of them would have to be version exclusives.
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Most, if not all, of the filler Pokemon, a few for competitive use, maybe have a few legendary events.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Hopefully the ones for Swampert and Sceptile, and maybe the ones for Kyogre and Groudon.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
All of the stones I have listed will either be gifted to the player or bought.
New areas to be introduced?
If they do have legendary events including legendaries from Gen IV and up, they should create areas that would fit those Pokemon. Maybe add some event only areas as well.
Ideas for post-game content?
Battle Frontier, Friend Safaris, maybe a couple of new minigames?

• -Who will be the protagonists?
The classic ones, Brendan and May
-What role will Wally play?
The new Champion
-What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?

• Juan: Retired in a house in Sootopolis.
• Wallace: Became an Elite Four
• Steven: Waiting in his house for a worthy trainer to battle him
-Will there be any other League-related changes?

• Implementation of new pokemon, the fairy type. Elite Four with some new members (two of them might be: Watson [the thunder gym leader] or Norman [May's Dad in anime])
-Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?

• Probably not, because that was in Emerald and not in Ruby/Sapphire
-What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?

• The classic battle because nintendo said (in an interview) that the games will be fully-remakes.
• Rayquaza might merge with Groudon and Kyogre in order to gain more power
-Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?

• Groudon: Ground/Fire, Drought, Lava Inferno (a new one :) [just thought the name...])
• Kyogre: Water, Drizzle, Water Avalanche (a new one :) [just thought the name...])
— their roles in the games will be?

• The classic as in Sapphire and Ruby
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?

• If they have mega evolutions, the most common items are their orbs. But how can they be spwned then??? So, no. Not their orbs. Probably something like Groudonite an Kyogrenite.
-What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?

• Kyogre, Mega-Kyogre in Alpha Sapphire
• Groudon, Mega-Groudon in Omega Ruby
-Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?

• Yes, in the later game (after beating the league)
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
-What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?

• Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Swampert and Sceptile
-Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?

• In places that are "shown" to have a secret, such as was the cave above Rustboro City (where you could catch Groudon in Pokemon Emerald)
-New areas to be introduced?

• Yeah, some mini islands or a small country.
-Ideas for post-game content?

• Quests for catching some of the IV-VI legendaries
• New customed secret bases

Who will be the protagonists? Brendan and May
What role will Wally play? The rival as there is no remake of the sequels of the original duo.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? Juan will be the gym leader, Wallace the champion, and Steven being beaten before the trainers very own eyes.
Will there be any other League-related changes? Most likely no but they may have a leader leave.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as? The Battle Frontier advertiser
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? He shall stop the version exclusive and other version exclusive but only ONE version exclusive/rayquaza shall be catchable.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Fire/Ground and Water/Electric, Same abilities, and same sig moves in the form of eruption and water spout with a new added move for both also
— their roles in the games will be? The same as Ruby and Sapphire
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? The red/blue orbs WILL turn into the mega stones.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? The same as Ruby + Sapphire with kalos added in. :P
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yes.
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Pokemon with 2nd stage evolutions that have no bearing to a HIGH leveled area. I.E. No Porygon-z in the ocean but a azumarill would be.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Of hoenn pokemon (X/Y CAN be patched)
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? Areas we preiously thought had no purpose such as maybe dead ends with rocks.
New areas to be introduced? Islands and maybe that figure mentioned in X/Y
Ideas for post-game content? THE BATTLE FRONTIER

• Who will be the protagonists?
Because this is supposed to be a full remake my answer is Brandon&may but with redesign's maybe.
What role will Wally play?
A second rival and maybe make story line appearances. Like against magma/aqua
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
I think first time around Wallace will be the 8th gym leader and Steven the champion. But i think there will be a post game quest like in firered & leafgreen and after you complete that wallace will be the rebattle champion with higher level's. And later on juan will replace wallace and you may battle him in the post game.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
Well of course rebattle e4 with higher levels like in the other 2 remakes and that steven will be replaced by wallace the second time.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Same as what he did in emerald with slight changes maybe.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Well I think it maybe get some sort of side quest like what they did with suicune.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Type: Will stay the same. Abilities: Improved version of drought and drizzle and make it permanent again. Signature move: Well i think they will increase the encounter level and make them lvl 50 and make it eruption and water spout.
— their roles in the games will be? Same as in the originals, but with a twist and maybe involve rayquazza like they did in emerald.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? I think it will involve the orbs but maybe some sort of quest and that you will be able to transform the orbs in megastones.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Of course the cover legendaries and the lati's were one will be roaming pokemon and the other event related. Plusle and minun.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Because these are remakes i doubt that. In Fr/LG & HG/SS the avaiable pokemon were the same until post game were you could catch pokemon not native to the region. So until post-game you can not catch other pokémon that were native to hoen.
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? hoen pokemon that got evolutions and pre-evolutions in newer gens.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced? Excluding the lati's wich are 100%, Groudon and Kyogre. Rayquazza, The other 2 starters because it would be unfair that blaziken got one and the other 2 didn't.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?Safari zone, mt pyre. the cave behind mosdeep. Maybe some random underwater tile.
New areas to be introduced? Yes, I hope a lot more underwater caves. Maybe even a whole new town or something that is not even on the map.
Ideas for post-game content? Quest for a mega ring. Battle frontier back.

• Who will be the protagonists?
I would like to say that the Sprites and Character of the Protagonists will stay the same, it may look different in 3D although.
What role will Wally play?
Wally will be a side character in the games who will be helped by the Protagonist in attempting to get their first Pokemon. If Mega Evolutions are included, He will catch a Pokemon that has a Mega Evolution that was unavailable prior to the release of the game.
Also, he may get the unchosen starter and become a Rival.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will be the Gym Leader at Sotopolis City. He specializes in Water and Ice-Type Pokmeon.
Either of Wallace or Steven shall be the champion. The other will help the Protagonist in Defeating the respective Team of Evildoers at different points in the game. [It may be noted that the Champion Trainer may vary according to the Version of the game being played.]
Will there be any other League-related changes?
There may be a change in the Pokemon being used and their moves, but overall, none.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Scott as I believe would still be the creator of the whole Battle Island-thingy, if it would exist in that form.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Stopping Groudon and Kyogre of course, what else would a 90 feet long Dragon do?
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
Firstly, No. That is not happening.
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Both may gain a Dragon-Type while retaining their original Types making them Triple Type Pokemon.
Ability would still be drought/drizzle. Or maybe a Sandstorm/Hailstorm.
— their roles in the games will be?
To fight each other.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
No. The Mega stones won't be Red or Blue orbs.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Zangoose for Omega Ruby and Seviper for Alpha Sapphire.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Included Generations will be:
Generation II
Generation III
probably, Generation IV
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
All further Generations.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Again, assuming that they exist:
The Starters
Wally's Stater
Gym Leader's Special
Champion and Elite four's Specials
Version Exclusive
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Don't ask me! I haven't even played X/Y yet!
New areas to be introduced?
A better use for Mossdeep Space Center.
A place for the Legendary Pokemon events. Like Different Islands.
Ideas for post-game content?
Introduction of a new area in the Safari Zone.
Introduction of a new story arc in the Battle Frontier involving Jirachi and the Leader of the Evildoers.
This should lead to post game Generation unlocks.

Who will be the protagonists?
the son or daughter of Brendan and May
What role will Wally play?
I think Wally should be Champion It would fit into the story really well as he has grown stronger over the years
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will probably retired in Sootopolis He may be a post game trainer later on but he will just rem-inis about his gym leader days. Wallace will be the 7th Gym leader as normal in R/S and Steven will be an assisting chacter and may be the leader of the battle frontier
Will there be any other League-related changes?
To the elite four Norman should be the either the 1st or 4th elite four member as drake retires and Normans gym will be the 8th gym Brendan and May as a surprise both your parents want to see how far you have come and the own the gym reasoning keeping their fathers gym
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
The same story as in emerald but more one liners;)
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
He will be in the main story but i think it would be much cooler to have a side ark focusing on Rayquaza the story could go something like this. In a final attempt to make their dreams a reality Archie/Maxie try to find Rayquaza and capture it to help them find and capture the wish granting pokemon jirachi. Thats all i got so far.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Mega Groudon Ground Mega Kyogre Water, abilities i think they should have new abilities like for Groudon-Drought King (names are debatable) it increases all of mega Groudon's Ground moves get a 2x increase suring sunshine and Kyogre's Storm King same only with water moves and has to be in rain
Signature moves Groudon- Earth shatter, Kyogre Tidal rip, both 150 Earth Shatter physical and Tidal Rip special there only back fire is to eliminate the rain or drought accuracy 80
— their roles in the games will be?
they should have like a black and whit setup where you have to fight Archie for Kyogre to stop magma and have to stop Maxie or his son?
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
Red and Blue orbs defiantly but not the whole when you try to use the blue orb for example it will crack ager its use and reveal their mega stone.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
same as every other game so ruby could represent y and so fourth
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
only up to GenIV i think it may ruin the story with to many pokemon
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Gen 5 and 6 post game only, most legendaries post game except for mascots both mascots will be available not sure about completely excluded
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
In the pokemon's natural environment as for legendaries they are in the legendaries cavern or given as a reward or quest item and bought from Steven after defeating him post game his last name is stone after all
New areas to be introduced?
Dragons Dwelling the area could change if you use the whit orb black orb and all other dragon orbs to summon the legendary dragons
- Meadow of Life= Xernus
-Oblivion Meadow= Yuvetal
-Arctic cavern has kyrem ( only able to get if you have zekrom or reshriam) regice must solve puzzle articuno and suicune after you stat the legendary quest

Who will be the protagonists?
Same as originals, but customisable like in X&Y
What role will Wally play?
Dude who faces you off in contests
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan - occasionally observes you to see your progress, then has something to do with post-elite 4 plot Wallace - 8th Gym and then in the final final master contest, you face Wallace, Scott and Wally!
Steven - pretty much same as originals
Will there be any other League-related changes?
Champion has mega-evos?
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Contest Meister + battle frontier?
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Before elite 4, Team Magma/Aqua controls respective legendary, then Rayquayza battles with you against them. After, he is caught at same place as originals (same for Kyogre + Groudon)
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be? Same sig. moves, as are abilities, Groudon is ground/steel. Kyogre is water/dragon or water/flying.
— their roles in the games will be? see Rayquayza's role.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else? Aqua/Magma get the Megastones too, and the orbs calm them down again. After elite 4, you can track down the lost Megastones.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be? Same as originals + maybe Plusle + Minun, Huntail + Gorebyss, Volbeat+Illumese, Gulpin line and Meditite line? And a few others.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Probably
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? like Geodude, Zubat and Ghastly.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Mightyena, Shiftry+Ludicolo, Xatu could be pretty cool too
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
On top of the Rustboro-Verdanturf tunnel? Underwater? Mt. Pyre, but in the basement?
New areas to be introduced?
No. Nintendo aren't THAT inventive
Ideas for post-game content?
Juan offers for you to take part in a competition where you meet all of the other protagonists, maybe some from Pokéspe? Team Aqua and Magma join to try to defeat you - They have breeded loads of Deoxys?

• Who will be the protagonists?
Still Brendan and May, but will their designs redone. They will still be customizable.
What role will Wally play?
He will still by the player's rival, but he will be more involved in the actual storyline. He will fight side-by-side with you against Team Aqua/Magma, and will be the one to show you how to use Pokémon Amie by demonstrating with his new Ralts.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
As in the original Sapphire/Ruby, Steven will return to being the Champion and Wallace will return to being the 8th Gym Leader. Juan, however, will be competing in contests as a veteran, someone to test your skills against. He will offer the player advice and different costumes for your Pokémon.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
I think at least one of the Elite 4 will become more involved in the story line; for example, I think Phoebe will come and check on her grandparents after the orbs are stolen from Mt. Pyre. I also think the roster will be updated, so we don't have a repeat of the Glalie/Glalie/Sealeo/Sealeo/Walrein incident. Lastly, I think the Gyms will accommodate for the new Fairy Typing, if the new roster's include them.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Yes, he will. He will return as the role he had earlier, except the Battle Frontier will be a new, upgraded facility.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
To stop Kyogre and Groudon, as in the first games. In a post game story line, he could go on a rampage and the player would need to capture/defeat him.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Kyogre
Type: Water
Ability: Flood Warning - Covers the entire field in water - heightens water type Pokémon's speed and special attack in battle for five turns - lowers fire type Pokémon's defence and accuracy for five turns.
Signature Move: Colossal Wave - Water - 110 base damage - Special - A vast wave crashes down onto the foe, sweeping the battle field underwater.

Groudon
Type: Ground/Fire
Ability: Eruption Omen - Covers the entire field in lava - heightens ground type Pokémon's attack and defence in battle for five turns - lowers water type Pokémon's special attack and defence for five turns.
Signature Move: Core Creation - Ground - 120 base damage - Physical - A fraction of the earth's core is generated, then hurled at the foe with tremendous strength.
— their roles in the games will be?
Both will be summoned by Team Aqua/Magma, as the original games, and will try to fight it out.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
It's a plausible idea and makes sense, but perhaps the Red/Blue Orbs will be fused with some kind of energy that will cause them to go nuts with their newfound power.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Omega Ruby: Shifty line (can be found in Lotad hoards), Breloom line, Delcatty line, Magneton line, Altaria line, Groudon
Alpha Sapphire: Ludicolo line (can be found in Seedot hoards), Masquerain line, Jigglypuff line, Electrode line, Flygon line, Kyogre.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Not during the first part of the game (excluding the Safari Zone), but in the post-game.
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Excluded from game overall: All starters (not including gift starters), Spritzee line, Frillish line, Emolga/Dedenee, Spearow line. In generl, Pokémon htat don't suit the climate, such as Ice Types or Fire types, both of which only appear in one area in-game.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Flygon
Plusle/Minun
Wigglytuff
Ninetales
Dodrio
Milotic
Golduck
Girafarig
Walrein
Huntail/Gorebyss
Kingdra
Ludicolo
Shifty
Swampert
Sceptile
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Meteor Falls, Abandoned Ship, Slateport (market area), Lilycove Museum, Secret Base, Petalburg Forest, Granite Cave, Cycling Route, Altering Cave, Sky Pillar, Route 11 (Desert Path), Shoal Cave, Route 124 (underwater), Trick House, Mt. Chimney, Mossdeep Space Centre (Gift).
New areas to be introduced?
A new facility to replace the Battle Frontier. More land mass around Pacifidlog and Ever Grande City.
Ideas for post-game content?
A story line involving:
1) The damage done to the ozone layer over time by technology; Rayquaza becoming enraged.
2) Your rival Brendan/May/Wally giving you a ticket for a boat with Mr Briney to explore other regions
3) A Championship Cup Battle arranged for an ultimate show down between the world's strongest champions - Wifi content, ranking system.
4) Having more responsibilities as the Champion, such as challengers or League work.

*I haven't actually played Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire, so I don't know the original storyline.
Who will be the protagonists?
The protagonists will be Brennan and May's son and daughter. (Their names will be customizable. *I'll use Bob throughout this entry*

What role will Wally play?
Wally will be an old family friend who gives the Bob the downsing machine and the Groudon/Kyogre Mega stone.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will take Wallace's place as a gym leader. Wallace has traveled to a distant region to apparently search for a new pokemon element. He comes back talking about a 'Team Flare' at the end of the story. When he discovers the Bob is the champion, he gives the Bob a Lv. 30 Flabebe (unavailable in the wild). Steven is now only part of the Elite Four. His championship has been taken... by Brennan.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
Not really.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Scott's son has now taken over the Battle Frontier business. Scott himself meets the Bob at all the same places, except at the Frontier. Scott's son gives Bob the starting Battle Points. Scott is found at another town to give Bob a Castormite (for Mega Castform) when Bob has enough BP.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Rayquaza will end the war between Kyogre and Groudon, like normal. Also, Rayquaza will drop a Rayquaza's scale, which Bob will pick up. Rayquaza's scale will sharply raise any weather-related moves (Thunder, Solar Beam, etc.) of the Pokemon that is holding it.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Kyogre will receive the Electric element, which will make an elemental balance between Kyogre and Groudon. Kyogre's ability will be Water Absorb, and Groudon's will be Mirage (increases evasionous in Sunny weather). Kyogre's sig. move will be Thunder Storm, which is a powerful Electric-type move that hits all pokemon on the battlefield. Groudon's sig. move has a twist that requires some strategy and cooperation. Its move, Sinkhole, has a simple 75 attack damage. In rainy weather, Sinkhole's power doubles. It looks like Kyogre and Groudon might have to work together for once.

— their roles in the games will be?
Groudon and Kyogre will fight after being awakened. Rayquaza will break up the fight, literally. Once Bob catches one of them, the other will disappear, apparently caught by another trainer.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
As mentioned before, the Megastones will be given to Bob by Wally. The Red/Blue Orbs will just be the Red/Blue Orbs.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Groudon and Kyogre (obviously). There will also be Misdreavus and Murkrow, Throh and Sawk, Cottonee and Petilil, and Skrelp and Binacle.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Of course!
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Too many Pokemon will be included than I can put here. However, simple things like Helioptile will be available just like any other wild Pokemon.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Some Mega Evotions will be Castform, Florges, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Sceptile, Swampert, Shiftry, Exploud, Flygon, and Hariyama.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Some stones might be hidden on an island that arose since Brendan and May's adventures. Others will be hidden in deep caves, or given to Bob by RPGs.

New areas to be introduced?
Mega Island: an island with at least three new Mega Stones. Stalong Town: A small, comfortable town with a man who wants a Lotad in exchange for a Klefki.

Ideas for post-game content?
Rayquaza will be able to be caught, Mega Island will open, and a scientist will send you on a quest to catch a certain amount of Pokemon in return for Florgesite.

• Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May will once again play as the role as protagonists. Brendan will have a red cap, while May will have a blue bandana by default in the artwork. In the game however, you can customize your player's accessories, in the same way as it was with Calem and Serena in X and Y. Brendan/May will obtain a Mega Glove at the Devon Corporation at some point in the story, which is used to mega evolve Pokémon. The Mega Glove is very much like Korrina's Mega Glove. Also, Brendon/May who battles you four times during the main story will battle you in Rustburo City after defeating Champion Steven, for the fifth time, he/she'll obtain a Mega Glove from the Devon Corporation and will use her Mega Glove in battle to mega evolve her Sceptile/Blaziken/Swampert.
Conclusion: It's been confirmed that Brendan and May are the protagonists and wear a Mega Bangle, not a Mega Glove. And what I said about May having a blue bandana in the artwork was incorrect. But what's been confirmed is that they have a very similar design, but it has been changed and improved though from their original design.

What role will Wally play?
Wally will play the same role as he did in Ruby and Sapphire, which is battling you in Petalburg City with a Ralts, then in Victory Road with almost the same Pokémon as he had in Ruby and Sapphire. When you battle him in Victory Road, he will use his Mega Ring (which is basically the same bracelet-like object that Calem and Serena wear) to mega evolve Gardevoir into Mega Gardevoir.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan takes care of a new building that represents a new feature in the game. As for Wallace, he is the 8th Gym Leader in Sootopolis City Gym holding the Rain Badge and will give out TM55 Scald when defeated (since there's no Water Pulse as a TM anymore). As for Steven, he fills the role of being the Pokémon League Champion, as he did in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
There will indeed be graphical improvements to the Pokémon League at Ever Grande City, each Elite Four's room will have an environment that matches the types of Pokémon they use in battle. Steven's room will look very grand looking. I do feel as there will be some minor level changes with the Elite Four and Steven's Pokémon by about either up by 2 or down by 2. Also the biggest change is that Steven also now holds a Mega Ring on his middle finger (just like Lysandre did), which enables him to mega evolve his Aggron into Mega Aggron when battling him in the Pokémon League for the first time. And when the player challenges the Pokémon League for the second time after finishing the game, the Elite Four and Steven's Pokémon will have Pokémon from all regions (including Kalos), as well as much higher levels.
Conclusion: It has been confirmed in the artwork that Steven has a Mega Bracelet, not a Mega Ring. So what I said about him having a Mega Ring on his middle finger was incorrect

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Yep, he will return and he will serve the same role as he did in Pokémon Emerald, since the Battle Frontier will make a return, despite the games following a Ruby/Sapphire storyline instead of an Emerald one.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Just the same role as he did in the original Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, which is encountering Rayquaza on the Sky Pillar rooftop where the player gets to battle Rayquaza at Level 70 and attempt to catch it. The player will also obtain the Delta Orb (Or Jade Orb) upon capturing Rayquaza. But if there are new mega evolutions, the Jade Orb will be called 'Rayquazite' instead.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Mega Groudon will be Ground/Fire, while Mega Kyogre will be Water/Ice. Mega Groudon will have Flame Body ability, while Mega Kyogre will have Refrigerate. And Mega Groudon's signature move is a move that we have not yet known about, which is of course a Fire-type move, while Mega Kyogre's one would be an Ice-type move that we haven't seen yet. That is... if new Mega Evolutions became available... if not, then they'll only gain new formes and would change forme if Groudon held the Omega Orb or Kyogre holding the Alpha Orb, and Groudon would only change type to Ground/Fire and Kyogre change type to Water/Ice, with no changes to their abilities or signature moves.
— their roles in the games will be?
Exactly the same as Ruby/Sapphire. With Groudon emerging in Ruby and Kyogre emerging in Sapphire and appearing in Cave of Origin. Groudon can only be found in Omega Ruby, while Kyogre can only be found in Alpha Sapphire.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
If new mega evolutions become available, then yes... they would be renamed to 'Groudonite' and 'Kyogrite'. But if no new mega evolutions are made, then the Red Orb and the Blue Orb will be renamed to Omega Orb and Alpha Orb, same would be true for the Jade Orb which would become the Delta Orb. Or they could simply be called Omega Stone, Alpha Stone and Delta Stone, as it looks like from the trailer.
Conclusion: New Mega Evolutions have been confirmed! And Groudon and Kyogre's new formes are not Mega Evolutions, but are similar though. They are Primal Formes. It's has been confirmed that Primal Groudon is Fire/Ground. But I was incorrect about Primal Kyogre being a Water/Ice type though, since it's confirmed that Primal Kyogre is pure Water-type. So far, the items used to make them change forme are not confirmed yet.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Groudon will only be obtainable in Pokémon Omega Ruby, while Kyogre can only be obtained in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. In the Underwater Cave, Maxie will awaken Groudon in Omega Ruby, while Archie will awaken Kyogre in Alpha Sapphire. Groudon or Kyogre will then appear in Cave of Origin in Sootopolis City, which is where you battle it in it's Primal forme after using the Omega Stone/Alpha Stone to bring it closer and then get to capture it in it's Primal forme. As for in the post-game, Dialga and the Timeline World will appear in Omega Ruby around in the mountainous parts, while Palkia and the Dimensional World will appear in Alpha Sapphire in the ocean parts while underwater. Upon catching Dialga, Palkia or Giratina, the player will receive their orbs respectively (Adamant Orb, Lustrous Orb or Griseous Orb. Which is actually a reference to Pokémon Emerald Version where you encountered Groudon in Terra Cave, and Kyogre in Marine Cave. Also, Latias will only be found in the wild in Omega Ruby, while Latios will only be found in the wild in Alpha Sapphire, they will flee 10 times in wild encounters before battling it on Southern Island.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Mainly Pokémon from Generations IV - V will become available in the wild after defeating Champion Steven at the Pokémon League for the first time.
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Most Pokémon that could not be obtained in Pokémon X and Y will appear in Hoenn after defeating Champion Steven at the Pokémon League for the first time.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
If any new Mega Evolutions are introduced, there would definitely be Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile, Mega Groudon, Mega Kyogre and Mega Rayquaza. However, I'm actually doubting that new mega evolutions would come in, 'cause there's already Mega Latias and Mega Latios in which cannot be obtained in X and Y unless through powersaves. Of course, Mega Latias and Mega Latios will be obtainable in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. I'm quite positive that there will be a Primal Rayquaza forme though, activated though the use of the Delta Stone. I also do assume there will be a Mega Aurorus, Mega Noivern, Mega Golurk, Mega Stoutland, Mega Volcarona, Mega Luxray, Mega Meganium, Mega Typhlosion, Mega Feraligator, Mega Torterra, Mega Infernape, Mega Empoleon and finally... Mega Chesnaught!
Conclusion: Mega Swampert, Mega Sceptile were correct. Mega Groudon, Mega Kyogre were incorrect, as they're Ancient Devolutions.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
If there is any new mega evolutions, they would be hidden in areas around Hoenn and you'd need to upgrade your Mega Glove at the Devon Corporation in order to find out their locations, just as you did in Pokémon X and Y at Anistar City. As for the Omega Stone and Alpha Stone, they're obtained from Maxie or Archie, depending if you're playing Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire, before heading to Sootopolis City. As for the Delta Stone is obtained from the Sky Pillar behind Rayquaza.
Conclusion: The player wears a Mega Bangle, not a Mega Glove.

New areas to be introduced?
I'd assume there will indeed be some new areas in which are inaccessible until you've defeated Champion Steven at the Pokémon League, such as the Frozen Island where it actually snows there.

Ideas for post-game content?
Everything of post-game stuff from Ruby/Sapphire as well as Emerald will return in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. However there are some changes. Latias (obtainable in Omega Ruby only) and Latios (obtainable in Alpha Sapphire only), will be encountered in the wild in the exact same way as it was in Pokémon X and Y with Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. Except this time, instead of it being based on your starter Pokémon, it's based on which version of the game you're playing. As soon as you encounter Latias/Latios in the wild, it will flee as soon as you encounter it. You need to track it with the Pokédex and encounter it 10 times and then you have to speak to Briney and he will speak about Southern Island and will take the S.S. Tidal over there. Once you reach Southern Island, press A in front of Latias/Latios and you'll battle it for real this time. Anyways, other post game content that you'll get is the Battle Frontier, which is exactly the same as it was in Pokémon Emerald, but with some new minor stuff added in there too, such as Mega Stones which can be obtainable and can be seen at night once you've upgraded your Mega Glove. Also, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina can be caught in Hoenn in their respective worlds. Dialga will be in the Timeline World, Palkia will be in the Dimensional World and Giratina will be in the Distortion World respectively. Dialga and the Timeline World can be accessed in Pokémon Omega Ruby, Palkia and the Dimensional World can be accessed in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Giratina and the Distortion World can be accessed in both games when the player has the Hoenn caught Dialga and Palkia on their team. In order to access any of those worlds, the player has to speak to one of the people at the Mossdeep Space Center and he'll tell you about some strange portal appearing along a certain route, while Giratina's one will appear in one area only. Now, as for Regirock, Regice and Registeel, they'll appear in the exact same locations as they were in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. However, should the player capture all three Regis, the player will be able to awaken Regigigas inside a snowy mountain called Frozen Island, which is a new area to the game and is an island accessible from the S.S. Tidal. The player can enter Sky Pillar only after finishing the game, however the player will only be able to battle Rayquaza in it's normal forme, after defeating it, the player can be able to move to the back area of the rooftop and obtain the Delta Stone from off the small pillar in where it rests behind Rayquaza.

Kyogre will be Water Flying, keep the drizzle ability, and have a signature water move. Groundon will be Ground Fire, keep the drought ability, and have a signature ground move. Team Aqua and Magma will battle over control of each legendary respective to the version, but you will eventually be able to catch both. none
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?

• Who will be the protagonists?
- Well, that's an easy one. Brendan and May will most likely be the protags, with a some redesigns and the capability to change outfits and such.

What role will Wally play?
- It would be really cool to see him as champion. After all, it's been almost 10 years -- he's had the time to do it, and it would be awesome to see that he did!

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
- I think Juan will be the 8th gym leader, as always. Wallace would have retired (to make room for Wally), and is now some contest god, and the main boss in that side-story. Steven would have taken over Devon Corp, following in his father's footsteps.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
- It would be awesome if they did. Gym re-challenges need to make a comeback -- maybe, we could even challenge E4s from other regions, too!

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
- No. Scott will forever stay banished. I didn't like Scott very much, but I have a feeling he'll be back and as annoying as always, doing what he always does.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
- Seeing as how this is Ruby and Sapphire... I doubt Rayquaza will have any more relevance than Giratina did in Diamond and Pearl. This is where Emerald remakes should come in. If Rayquaza does have any relevance, it send Groudon/Kyogre back to it's room without dinner while you take care of the other.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
- As for typing, Kyogre would keep its Water typing, although Groudon would become Ground/Fire. (In the interest of balancing things out a bit, maybe Kyogre would become Water/Steel.) Their abilities would become much more complicating. Drizzle turns into Flood, which causes every pokemon who doesn't have either Water typing or Ice typing becomes slower, and Fire, Ground, and Rock would take damage. Drought would be replaced by Famine, which causes every pokemon that doesn't have Fire, Rock, or Ground typing becomes slower, and Water and Ice pokemon take damage. Kyogre and Groudon would also have their own signature moves.
- The whole "mega-evolution" (or whatever they'll be) will probably play a part in Magma's/Aqua's interest in them. I mean, it's not just some legendary that causes land/ocean to raise but IT'S JUST THAT POWERFUL.
- It makes sense to have their MegaStones to be their orbs. Or maybe they won't be called MegaStones at all, but it will be the orb that triggers it.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
- It'll probably be split up the way it always has.
--- My guess is they'll use the same split as X/Y, maybe combined with B2W2, and have OR have Y's exclusives and AS have X's exclusives

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
- Not all, but some. The Gen I/II pokemon that showed up in the orginals will appear, as well as others. I think they should put in the more animal-like pokemon, like Glameow and its line, or Stunky. Additions of other ghost type pokemon (like Phantump) would be awesome.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
- Stating the obvious, the starters will have Mega Evos. Salamance and Metagross probably will too. Personally, though, I would like to see Mightyena given a Mega Evo, or an Exploud Mega.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
- Places around Hoenn, much like how you find the stones in Kalos. The stones for Blaziken, Septile, and Swampert would be given to you, though, around the 7th or 8th gym, or at the defeat of team Magma/Aqua.

New areas to be introduced?
- Mmm... that's a tough one, because I felt Hoenn was near complete. I hope for more postgame exploration, because if memory serves, Hoenn didn't many, if any, new areas post game. Maybe a more mountainous area? Or new islands off the coast?

Ideas for post-game content?
- Like I said, more postgame explore-able content, and the ability to battle E4s and Champions from other regions, but not in the way B2W2 did it. Oh! Oh! And you could design a fancy tux/dress/other-clothing as a champion! I always have wanted that. Like, you're the champion, you should have the option to walk around in a fancy outfit and tell the crushed souls of other NPCs that you are, in fact, the champion and you have fancy threads to prove it.

• [Edit: Now that I've actually played Gen 3 for the first time ever (Thanks to Cat and Expert Emerald), My opinions of the story has somewhat changed.]
[Edit 2: CoroCoro/E3 update]

What role will Wally play?

Maybe he could actually mean something to the story! MAYBE HE IS THE CHAMPION!!!

Or he can be like the opposite of Blue. Really shy and always behind, but still trying to be the best.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?

Juan is really boring. And makes no sense. Maybe Gym Leader 8 will be Wallace's cousin or something.

Nevermind, Juan is actually a cool guy. But I want him to play a bigger part in the story. Just being a gym leader isn't much for the champion's mentor.

Wallace should be the champ. And have the third starter. And do something in the plot.

Steven will be exactly what he was in Emerald. You fight him after all the post-game shizzle.

Will there be any other League-related changes?

Plot wise, the game should work like both HGSS and Platinum. You have a mandatory battle with the respective legend BUT YOU SHOULDN'T BE FORCED TO FLIPPING CATCH THEM!!!!!!!!!

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?

He did nothing. Maybe he'll be like Buck in Platinum. Useful to an extent.
Actually, he can possibly introduce the whole concept of Mega Evolutions to the player. So that he is useful.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?

Emerald should be to ORAS as Crystal was to HGSS. 'Nuff said.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions Ancient Regressions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?

Groudon:
Ground-Fire (Don't void this post, I originally had Dark, if it matters)
Solar Power
Eruption and some other uber-tier move with volcanoes 'n stuff.

Kyogre:
Water-Psychic/Water-Fairy/Water-LIGHTOMGTHEHYPE!!!
Swift Swim
Water Spout and maybe some geyser BS or something.

— their roles in the games will be?

Plot is the same as Emerald up to the dynamic battle. In OR, Groudon gets the upperhand and Team Magma beats Team Aqua. You must steal the Red Orb from Aqua and it becomes the Eruption Stone or something and you control Groudon and fight to calm him down and blah blah blah plot.

Vice Versa for AS, but the Blue Orb becomes the Geyser Stone.

— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?

Eruption Stone to Groudon. Geyser Stone to Kyogre. No [Insert Name Here]ite or some crap like that.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?

Same as b4, but with some other shizzle. Like Magmar in OR and Jynx in AS.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?

OHGODYESPLZ

But don't overdo it. Less BW-BW2 and more DP-Pt or GS-HGSS. I don't want to see a bunch of Gen 6 Pokemon in the first four routes.

— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?

Just the ones that make sense. I don't wanna see Riolu with 2 badges. *Cough Cough BW2 Cough Cough*

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?

Crawdaunt, Cacturne, Shiftry, Ludicolo, Sableye (WonderGuardPLS), Jynx, etc...

Oh and Shedninja Poison/Dark with Levitate AND Wonder Guard. Lol GG Hoenn.

Sceptile and Swampert confirmed. They both have double weaknesses, though (No sap sipper for Swampie...)

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?

Maybe you get the ring bangle at like 7 badges but you get stones starting around badge 2 and there's all this build up surrounding the stones... MAYBE THE FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH MEGA EVOS IS WHEN FIGHTING GROUDON/KYOGRE!!!
As long as Champion Wallace gets Mega Milotic I'm cool.

New areas to be introduced?

Due to the fact that FRLG are now obsolete, maybe the Sevii Islands or even Kanto. Yeah. You heard me.

Ideas for post-game content?

Sevii Islands, Kanto, Battle Frontier, Kanto, The Future, Kanto, The Past, Kanto, and Arceus's Egg.

And Kanto.

I got lazy at Kanto #2.

Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May, but they can alo be customised like how they are in X and Y.

What role will Wally play?
Rival, but will have a mega-gardevior or a Gallade instead of a regular Gardevoir. He will also explain about pokemon amie and wondertrade.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will be a gym leader. Wallace will be the champion in Alpha Sapphire with a mega-milotic whilst Steven will be the champion in Omega Ruby with Mega-Metagrosss.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
Pokemon League Tourament, contests and battle frontier related stuff.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
He will be a NPC you can battle. He can also teach you about EV training.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
To try and neatrualise the weather damage done by Team Magma/Aqua

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions.
Mega-Kyogre, Mega-Groundon and Mega-Rayquaza's abilities will remain the same but their highest stats shall recieve a massive boost.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Same as Ruby/Sapphire, but some pokemon will only be availible via bank and XY. Gen VI - VI will also be included in the wild but some won't be availible until after the main game is beaten.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
The rest of the starters, Kyogre, Groundon, Rayquaza, Bellossom, Vileplume, Blissey, Dragonite, Altari, Milotic, Metagross, Gallade, Togekiss, Haxorus, Volcarana, Jynx, Mightyena, Florges, Goodra and Rapidash. XY was very focused on Kanto megas so OR and AS will be very non-Kanto focused.

Since Mega-Diance has been revealed. I predict her final mega stats to be 50/120/170/120/170/70 or if they keep her speed the same 50/125/175/125/175/50.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
They will be hidden across Hoenn, though Metagrossite and Miloticite will be given by Steven and Wallace respectively. The starters shall get their megas by defeault and some of the mega stones can be bought in a shop whilst the rare ones will need to be saught out.

New areas to be introduced?
The Orre region where Pokemon Collosuem and XD: Gale of Darkness took place these will also contain hidden mega stones for the rest of the starters and ones that were shadow pokemon.

Ideas for post-game content?
Jirachi event, Deoxys event, Mew event, Arceus' egg and Elite four members, rivals, previous playable characters as well as past champions in the pokemon world tourament which will be in the battle frontier.

Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan & May, possibly with new designs or the originals but will be able to change clothes and be given new clothes to match the emerald outfits after the main game is finished or late in the story
What role will Wally play?
Wally will still be your rival with a new design, but will hopefully have more appearances and a larger part in the story (e.g. he will explain the new pokemon systems, and he should get a Gallade which could get a mega evolution)
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will still be the gym leader of Stootopolice, Steven should go back to being the champion with a mega evolved pokemon, Wallace should be a recurring trainer who has a large effect with the contests and his own mega evolution
Will there be any other League-related changes?
New team additions, pokemon at higher levels, and move changes
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Scott will likely reappear as he did in emerald, but probably with a larger role in the battle frontier
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Rayquaza's role will likely be the same as in emerald but maybe team magma and aqua will look at catching it along with Groudon and Kyogre
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Groudon will likely become a fire type if it mega evolves, its ability should remain the same only without a limit as long as it is in battle and it should get a signature move
Kyogre probably won't become a dual type with mega evolution, its ability should remain the same only without a limit as long as it is in battle and it should receive a signature move
their roles in the games will be?
Their roles are likely to be the same as in ruby, sapphire and emerald but with more additional story
of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
if the red or controls Kyogre and the blue orb controls Groudon, then if the orbs are switch then they will become their respective mega stones
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Version exclusives should remain the same, but with some additional pokemon added from gen IV, V and VI
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Yes, but they will be rare and most will not be available until post-game
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
only a few pokemon that were not in the original ruby and sapphire should be added, they should not add pokemon such as Riolu, no other gen starters (at least until after the main story) and don't shovel tons of new mega evolutions just stick with the basics
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Sceptile and Swampert should receive mega evolutions since Blaziken already has one, Zangoose and Seviper may get mega evolutions, but they should focus on the games story not new evolutions
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Mega stones for the starters should be given only in post-game, but some stones should be available before the legendaries battle and before the elite four
New areas to be introduced?
Some of the surrounding islands should become open to explore with new content and story for the players
Ideas for post-game content?
More to do with the Battle Frontier e.g. larger area and its own story), additional story in the regions in the aftermath of the battle between Groudon and Kyogre, more detail and additions with contests, having more recurring characters maybe even a new rival to get the left over starter since wally catches a Ralts (that would be really good) and including a storyline for Jirachi and Deoxis to make them available in-game without to much hassle.

• Who will be the protagonists?
-Brendan and May, in a similar but slightly revamped version of their R/S outfits.

What role will Wally play?
-Wally will serve as a rival, similar to the original games but with more appearances/battles (and a bigger team at the Mauville Gym rival battle)

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
-They will fill roles nearly identical to their roles in Emerald, with Juan as 8th Gym Leader and Wallace as Champion. Steven will probably get more significant story importance and have an option to re-battle him in Meteor Falls once per day during the postgame (similar to the Gen V bonus bosses).

Will there be any other League-related changes?
-Most certainly an upgraded set of teams after the postgame, with non-Hoenn Pokemon involved. The ability to choose which order they are faced in, as in B/W(2) and X/Y, will also be added. Types and team members for the initial run will stay largely the same. (Phoebe's outfit might get censored though :P )

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
-Yes. Same role as in Emerald, though he will probably be battle-able during the postgame or possibly as a reward for earning all Silver/Gold symbols.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
-Same as in Emerald.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
— their types / abilities / signature moves will be?

Types: Groudon will be Ground/Fire, Kyogre will be Water/Ice. Or they will remain the same.
Abilities: new versions of Drought/Drizzle that act like the old Drought/Drizzle; i.e. last until the weather is changed.
Signature Moves: Omega Quake and Alpha Flood for Groudon and Kyogre, respectively; Ground and Water versions of Hyper Beam that also hit everything on the field in Doubles/Triples and take a turn to recharge.
— their roles in the games will be?
Upon awakening the respective legendary, Team Magma/Aqua will inadvertently trigger its Mega Evolution (or possibly Forme Change), leading to the appropriate apocalyptic scenario.
— of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
Almost certainly the Red/Blue Orbs will serve as either Mega Stones or Forme changing items, depending on which route their new appearances take.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
-Same as in the original Ruby/Sapphire, with any non-Hoenn Pokemon available having similar catch rates to (for Ruby and Sapphire respectively):
--Red and Blue
--Gold and Silver
--Pearl and Diamond
--White and Black
--Y and X

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
-Much like HG/SS, none will be available pre-National Dex at first. However, in new areas of the Safari Zone, new islands, and secret areas in the Battle Frontier, new Pokemon will be available for capture.
— If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
-Any evolutions/pre-evolutions to anything in the Hoenn Dex is a given, along with Bonsly (from the Frontier Sudowoodo). Probably some new gen Water Pokemon like the Jellicent line, Basculin, Floatzel line, and Dragalge and Clawitzer lines will be found Surfing/Fishing in the ocean around the Battle Frontier. Other catchable Pokemon will be available depending on the environments in the new islands, though Gen I-IV Pokemon will make up the majority due to region proximity. (Remember, Unova and Kalos are on completely different continents so it would make sense for more Kanto/Johto/Sinnoh creatures to appear in Hoenn!)

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
-Possibly Groudon and Kyogre (though I still think Forme Changes are more likely); Sceptile and Swampert for sure. Other possibilities include Zangoose, Seviper, Flygon, Walrein, and Hariyama.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
-Mostly in postgame areas such as the Battle Frontier, the new islands, and the Route 111 Desert. A secret basement in the Sky Pillar (found by falling down the right tiles) could also hide one. Maybe a new area of Victory Road as well? A new cave in place of the relatively pointless Altering Cave found in Emerald?

New areas to be introduced?
-The various islands on the south end of Hoenn will be introduced and expanded upon. Most notably, the places such as Birth Island and Southern Island will be made into full-fledged dungeon-type areas with wild Pokemon to catch, and some sort of building/shrine/ruin on each that will summon its Legendary when a certain event Pokemon or item is brought there. Possibly even a reappearance of the Sevii Islands, given they share some of the event islands with Hoenn?

Ideas for post-game content?
-An expanded Battle Frontier that is slightly less haxish, the abovementioned islands, some roaming Pokemon besides Lati@s (Lake Trio?), a story-based quest similar to Looker's in X/Y (maybe involving the player's family and/or Wally's), an expanded Abandoned Ship and Scorched Slab (dungeons leading to Lugia/Ho-Oh respectively?), an area to catch otherwise-unavailable Pokemon upon completion of the Battle Frontier, and an area to catch Regigigas when the three golems are in the party.
