Paradaisu Region aka the Pokemon Paradise

Geography
Paradaisu is Separated into 8 Distinct Areas you have the Massive Lake and River Systems in the Middle of the region with a Large City in the Middle of the largest lake around that you have an Area dedicated to each type of area a pokemon generally inhabits to the North you have a large area of Grassland to the North East there is a Massive forested area to the North West is a Mountainous region to the South West and up towards the mountains is a large Cavern System Crisscrossing into the Mountains and to the South East is a Large Desert expanse

History
Paradaisu was founded about 50 years ago by a group of scientists who wanted to get away from all the Evil organization's at the time it was a Human Free zone watched over by the rangers with the help of the rangers and the Group of scientists which eventually founded Sylena Corp the entire island was terraformed and made into a National Preserve where no capturing of pokemon was allowed. Thanks to the help of a cadre of Porygon made just for this purpose the capturing mechanism of pokeballs are deactivated when they come into the borders of Evenae.

Government
Paradaisu is Ruled by a Partnership between Sylena Corp which is being run by Alyssa Zenia the Grandaughter of one of the Scientist's who founded Sylena corp and discovered Evenae 50 years ago and the Ranger Union. Sylena corp oversees the manufacture of items and other stuff useful to Pokemon research and has its headquarters in Evenae city. the ranger union has small bases situated in each biome and has a mobile airbase which flys around Evenae

Landmarks
Sairuna City - The Capital City of the region Sylena Corp has its main Headquarters among various other scientific organizations along with the massive landing pad for the flying fortress which houses the Ranger Union of Paradaisu
Kibishīdesu Desert - the home of the pokemon which are climatized to the harshest conditions the Desert was Terraformed with the help of countless pokemon with the ability sandstream
Shizukesa Mountains - a Huge mountain range stretching for eons it was formed through multiple uses of the move earthquake which was felt all the way at Kanto
Yakō-sei no Cavern's - a series of caver's stretching far underground and made by Diggers like Onix, Steelix and various other ground types its said the caverns stretch the entire breadth of Paradaisu but no one has yet to explore it all
Hogo Plains - a large expanse of Grassland which is what is left of Paradaisu before it was terraformed
Kaioga Ocean - an inland sea which is what surrounds Sairuna City its said to drain out to the sea through the Yakō-sei no Cavern's
Kāmingu Beach - a large beach which is buffer between the Kaioga Ocean and the rest of the areas

Applying
as Paradaisu is a large pokemon preserve with Technology backing it applying will be different you will be able to apply as a Pokemon Professor, Scientist, Ranger, Ambassador or a Pokemon. Professor's, Scientist's are allowed 1 pokemon pertaining to there area of field of experience, Rangers will be able to have 3 Pokemon 1 which is native to the Area where the stationed 1 which is capable of sustaining flight with a human and 1 which is able to either transport a human on water or land & Ambassador's can have up to 6 Pokemon which are non native to Paradaisu

The idea of having an island landscaped and changed to accomodate and protect lots of pokemon is a nice idea. Feels very Jurassic Park!

Do any non-scientist/ranger citizens live in Sairuna City? Is it like a normal city with schools/shops/etc. or is it just a glorified research campus?

Yeah theres Schools and shops the Schools are overseen by Sylena corp and are used to either teach or look after the Scientist's/Professors Children and theres a small population of Clerks mostly children of the scientists and professors who didn't want to Continue on in there parents footsteps think of it like Cambridge most of the city is the University but theres small pockets of non academie :)
