Hello Pokémon fans! This is a passion project I have been working on for a couple of years now and it is finally starting to take form, so I decided to post it publicly in order to receive some really needed advice and criticism as well as to give it some visibility and find team members to help finalize it. I've tried several times to develop my own fangame and this is the closest I've ever come to actually doing it! To some degree, the premise is simple: a crossover between Pokémon and Monster Hunter.
The player starts their adventure by finding a strange idol in route 29, which sucks them away in a black hole of goo, teleporting them to an unknown place.
Where did they land? Is this place safe? Are they the first to step foot in here? As they move along they will discover a wonderful world full of new species to encounter and places to explore, while a looming shadow dangerously wait in the dark for the moment to strike.
Without a pokémon to protect them and stranded in a stranger land, they will have to forge new alliances with the people they will found along their journey to find a way home.
- The whole Old Continent from Monster Hunter to explore, adapted to a Pokémon game and faithful to the original.
- Deep and well crafted lore and world building, inspired by both franchises.
- Whole rework of gyms, elite four and champion.
- Crafting and Questing with associated UI.
- 160+ monsters with unique abilities, forms and evolution paths.
- 50+ new moves, drawing inspiration from the Monster Hunter games.
- Replacement of the HM system.
- Lots of end game content, from battle towers to full fledged dungeons and boss fights.
