  • Hello! I thought of a new idea for a type of nuzlocke challenge. This is called Pokémon Reservelocke.

Pokémon Reservelocke is a nuzlocke made by Lexiosity. In Reservelocke, you get 6 Pokémon to start with, like normal, but you also get to choose up to 12 more Pokémon to put in the box, making 18 Pokémon in total. If at least 3 dies, you must substitute another three, otherwise you lose. This follows the basic nuzlocke rules:

    1. If your Pokémon faints, you must release it/place it in a box you will use for trash.
    2. You can only capture pokémon per area, so if you already caught one in one area, you cant get another from there.
    3. Maximum of 30 healing items each. E.g. 30 potions, 30 ethers, 30 revives, 30 max revives, 30 full heal, 30 full restores, etc.
    4. If you lose all your Pokémon, your run is over.
    5. No Battle Items (X Items, PP/HP Up, PP/HP Max, etc).
    6. No overlevelling
    7. Can't catch at least two of the same Pokémon
    8. Nickname every Pokémon.
    9. You are allowed to use rare candies to level up your Pokémon to the highest level of the next gym leader.

Before you start, you must run a random pokemon generator until you have at least 7 Pokémon selected. Remember, maximum you can have in total is 18. If RNG selects the same pokemon twice, you must reroll. Your pokemon starts from Level 5 with base stats. Each Pokémon must have at least 1 attacking move and 1 defensive move when you start (with the help of PKHeX, you can do this). Your run ends when either, you beat the elite four and the champion, or you lose all your Pokémon. You must have 4 to 6 Pokémon in your party, otherwise you are disqualified.

    What do you all think?
