I recently bought Fire Red and I was wondering what is the best possible team you can assemble? You could use legendaries. I picked Bulbasaur as my starter Pokemon.

Fire Red or Red? Because if it is Fire Red this should be in Third generation sub-forum. Also, it depends in what kind of team are looking for.
When i'm making a team i always try to have a decent type spread.

    1. Venusaur
    2. Nidoking
    3. Jolteon
    4. Arcanine
    5. Starmie
    6. Dragonite

Kinda generic, but that's what I could come up with.

I think you want to move thsi to the Gen 3 Forums, but while your here talking about gen 1 pokemon...

    My Choice for you:
    1. Mewtwo
    2. Dragonite
    3. Moltres
    4. Zapdos
    5. Articuno
    6. Snorlax

It's not my exact team since I don't use all Legendary, but that's a great team for you if your interested. (overpowered a bit too) I think you can get some Gen 2 Legendary as well in that game.

Assuming you don't want to use Legendaries, here's a pretty decent lineup:

    1: Ninetails / Arcanine / Charizard (fire)
    2: Alakazam (psychic)
    3: Gengar (ghost)
    4: Venasaur (grass / poison)
    5: Pidgeot (flying)
    6: Raichu / Jolteon (electric)
    7: Vaporeon / Lapras (water / ice)

So yeah, that's about it for what you would need or even want on a team. Ground/Rock really isn't important, and neither is fighting, however... Hitmonchan is the BEST Pokemon of all time, since it can learn Fire, Ice, Electric, and Fighting, so that's another great option.

hmm, if they don't want legendary (I thought they did) here is my choice:

    1. Raichu/Jolteon
    2. Alakazam
    3. Rhydon
    4. Venusaur/Exeggutor
    5. Gyarados/Cloyster/Vaporeon/Blastoise
    6. Arcanine/Ninetales/Flareon/Charizard

If you don't want Rhydon since it's Ground/Rock, defiantly use Dragonite!
    Enjoy the Adventure!
