Sometimes finding legitimate copies for older Pokemon games and for a reasonable price can be difficult. You could first look at the sites of major retailers, both general and gaming-based ones and see if they happen to have any copies in stock. Like, looking at GameStop's site right now, it seems that they have a copy of Platinum available, though for 80-something USD which is....about twice the price it was on release =/
If there happens to be a used gaming store near you, you could pay that place a visit and see what they have. You can also take your chances and look at places like ebay or Mercari. You can find all sorts of shit in online marketplaces, but the prices can vary wildly and you'd have to investigate and see if a copy for sale is legit too.
