Strawberries are nuts, as far as I'm aware. :)
Who knew that peanut butter & strawbelly jelly sandwiches were actually just using two versions of a pulverized nut?

I still have my world rocked when I remember corn is a fruit. Tomato, sure fine it's fruit-ish, the berries aren't actually berries okay, banana is a berry fine, but corn??? is a fruit????

I do consider corn as fruit, or rather everyone treats corn as fruit. The dishes made with corns are not prevalent over here, like in west. But the way people consume them is quite relatable to fruits. We don't even drink water after eating corns, just like the case for the other fruits.

But I think more than knowing the terms, it is important to know the benefits of having them, and enjoying eating them !!

By the way, there is something called "False Fruit" as well.

I don't really eat that much meat and cheese and all. But the things I like, I really like. And there have just not been any vegan alternatives for things like mozzarella sticks that even tasted remotely good. Also, no person I know irl eats vegan or vegetarian which makes it even harder for me to consider a switch. I simply don't have the energy to force myself and keep at it. ^^"

Whereas in ours case, we don't need meat replacements and we are content with whatever vegetables, fruits, cereals, millet, etc. which we can get. I had heard from my friend who lives in UK that they get tin canned jackfruits which are considered as replacement for meat. Though Jackfruits are quite common in Asia, but I never really knew that use of Jackfruit until I came across that fact.
