    Where is is decided battle which music a trainer gets? I'm not talking about intro music, but battle music like rival battle, magma leader battle, elite four battle etc.

    GetBattleBGM in src/pokemon.c. You could've found this out by searching for the MUS_ constants of the songs or by looking at one of the several battle music related modifications on the wiki.
