Yeah, the sprites in the intro I won't be able to fix anymore. I hated how they came out too, sorry. As for everything else;
The sailor guy near the end of the 2nd floor explains everyone left the ship already. That's why all of the doors except 1 or 2 are not opened for you to enter anymore. Benga's house isn't available until a later part in the hack. It's closed off in this beta. All of the evil teams in Pokemon's past (except for Flare) have all joined forces, which is explained through-out the story & why Magma/Aqua are working together.
You beat the beta that quickly?! It took me up to three days lol. Have you gotten all 5 badges, beat team Omega, and explored the Artic Cave? I suggest looking into the story a bit.

Yeah, Artic Cave way too big. I actually found lots of bugs but I just reported the starting ones.
But hey, I really enjoyed the beta. I can't wait for the next release of it. And fix the bugs! :P

I can't open the file DR2.ips with VBA, do you know the reason please ?!!


EDIT: I patched red fire with apply ips patch but when i want to play there is just the logo gameboy on the screen (with gpsphone, and a white screen on vba...)

Just try repatching it to the rom. If not I can send you the patched rom. Email me @ [email protected]

BTW found a glitch. When you do double battles and you don't have a second pokemon (waiting for better pokemon) you will send out 2 of your starter pokemon. (Btw this was in DR1) Also when the game is switching from daytime to evening it rather immediate and there's really not proper transition. (Don't know if you can fix. Just letting you know.)

Thanks. Honestly I wanted it better than how it came out, but I tried my best. I spent a lot of time on it. Also, more 6th gen sprites will get backsprites in the future.

Been Playing it. Yup it could use more refining. Especially the mapping. A lot of tile errors. But overall, its quite nice.

It should if you import your old save file to the new rom.

The download link for the ips file is on the 1st page. You need Lunar ips and a clean Fire Red rom to patch it.

You didn't get the pokedex from Prof.Mercury's assistant. Without the pokedex, any Pokemon who's dex number is after 151 won't evolve. The assistant is behind her in her lab, she explained he has the dex.

I think you should've at least put a script tile that will keep the player for going outside and
that would only let the player outside if the dex is already given to the player so that bug
won't be triggered, that was just a suggestion though.

Download a fire red ROM, and the .ips patch. Then open up lunar IPS and click apply patch, choose the dr2 ips, then it'll ask you what game to patch and click the fire red ROM.

I found few bugs and glitches:
1. When you go get your pokemon you can get to pokemon center and if you heal it crashes your game
2. At start theres some trees that you can straight past them nothing serious

Thats all for now gonna inform if i gonna see more bugs and glitches
