  • Hi, I hope you're not busy these days, because I need soooo much your help about scripting in Pokemon Essentials. I'm in the middle of finishing my game project at last, but my game doesn't look at all like I want.
    Let me explain, my Pokemon game is based on the GSC games, so it uses graphics and sounds from those games. I've put my project in a resolution of 320x288 px, and configured color of text, PS and XP bars, but I still have issues with coordinates of sprites and other graphics, specially in the battle screen.
    Yeah, I know I'm bothering you with all this stuff, but I think you are the best person that can help me in scripting. So what do you say? Can I trust you this task? I'm going to send you some screenshots of my project soon. Thanks.
    Hi, I want to ask you about your Hall of Fame script for Essentials, I'm working with the 480 x 320 resolution, so I changed pokemon positions to the center of the screen, but when the message "Welcome to the Hall of Fame!" appears, all the Pokemon sprites are seen one behind another, and I want them to dissapear in that message. What can I do to make it possible?
    Thanks, personally I prefer sprites to be of my own creation nowadays but always nice to have temporary sprites.
    No font. I took screenshots from HGSS and used the letters/words used there, and made up any more letters I needed with the pencil tool in Paint.
    Hey i have little problem with your multiple registered items, im using a bitmap on my menu to display registered item, and i wanted to use your script, so what i have to use for it? I mean the array.
    $PokemonBag.registeredItem[0] or something else.
    a follow up question to the training area I'm working on, ideally, I want the battle to give the player no money, and if they lose not lose money and remain in the same place, and at the end heal the party (healing is easy, but the others elude me) again only for certain trainers, so maybe a combo switch 80 affecting both of these things? sorry for bothering you again, but you seem to know the most about this, if you could help that would be awesome

    Hi FL ., I'm adding the charaset that will be show when the player is using bicycle but isn't moving. Well, how could I set the condition "isn't moving"? XD
    I tried with !$game_player.moving? but it doesn't work.
    I tried also Input.dir4==0 and it doesn't work.
    Hey, sorry to bug you but I have a question about your PokemonSelection Script. It works fine but in the comments you talk about adding rules and banned pokemon and I couldn't quite understand how to do this. I want to ban pokemon that would normally be banned in the real games and I want pokemon to be set to level 50. Could you tell me how to do this. I think you said I would have to edit the OrgBattleRules script and I'm not sure how or where. Thanks for reading this.
