  • No spoilers, but the new Khaenri'ah lore...

I just want to say that it changes nothing about Naofa. But. Oh, boy.
And here I am, writing The Jester this Sunday right after all of this came out.
I hope he's muscular. Genshin seems to...lack in that department.

Not that I care for swole men, I just can't imagine Varka being puny in any way.
I feel like we'll have to someday. But not until the very end of the archon quests, or something.

Varka, we'll probably meet in Natlan.
Alice is possible. I don't care about Aloy though. As far as I'm concerned, she's not canon because she's a crossover character. If she is, though, Alice, I mean. I ponder about Klee. Maybe her father is an elf. We'll likely never see Alice in person. She's going to remain unseen forever, I bet. (Hence why I won't write her or Varka until they appear on screen).

Naofa also claimed the Tsaritsa stole all of their technology but Fontaine "did their own thing" but Siorc thinks it's stretching the truth. Even if it's revealed at some point it's not the case though, I won't be editing that in the fic.

I definitely want to see the factories in Snezhnaya. In 2025, I'm definitely seeking them out.
I've heard people talk about how Alice could be from another world altogether. Which explains a lot, if true.

Khaenri'ah though, was probably far more advanced than Teyvat. I kind of wonder if for Snezhnaya, they stole Khaenri'ahn technology? Fontaine probably didn't, but if at some point we're told all of their technology (Snezhnaya) stole it, I wouldn't be surprised.
Probably second to Snezhnaya. Because they have guns. And have factories as stated by Alice.

Fontaine apparently has movies. I heard people speculate the nation will be 1920s esque. Maybe they have automobiles, but that would honestly be weird to see. I can definitely at least see it being steampunk.

Alice, though. She probably has the most advanced technology out there of anyone. She made a communication device that Traveller used in 2.8. The closest we'll ever get to phones in this game.
Either that, or a Danganronpa/Ace Attorney style minigame where Focalors or other court members say, "objection!" "That's wrong" & having to know when to refute claims. I just want to hear Aether say objection or something.

Makes me want to have Siorc have to learn about the court during the Fontaine book I'm starting in August. Naofa's arc is finishing up in May & then I'm doing a mini novella of odd jobs as filler before then, but I'm excited to finally eventually get there.
A remix of Beethoven's fifth symphony on accordion? Not sure if Genshin would do that, but accordions in the soundtrack for Fontaine sounds likely.

Also "objection" "hold it" and a lot of people pointing like in Ace Attorney. Now, that would be amazing.

I hope there's some sort of court mini game in the archon quest.
Fontaine court of law as you walk around in Fontaine Harbor: stop, vile villain! Halt in the name of the law!

    Paimon: OH, NO! Aether, run!

    (Assumption).

It happened in Inazuma, too. Remember when we couldn't walk through the city normally because the commission stopped us for being criminals for trying to stop the Shogun?
I can't wait for Traveller to be a considered a criminal the second they step foot in Fontaine. I predict that'll happen.

Or, the Traveller will get tried in court.
    Sounds very Fatui.

That reminds me of how Naofa wormed its way into the Court of Fontaine and started an uprising, speaking of which, then got tried in court by Focaloris herself. But, I doubt that'll actually happen in the Fontaine archon quest, lol. Someone starting an uprising in the court, or something.
In the Archon quest, I'd say a few times, actually. The Interludes had barely any Fatui involvement.
Wait until you hear what Dottore did the Subject No. 2 (the failed Albedo clone), Naofa isn't the only villain in this arc.

(By did something, he just awakened him, but that's not stated on page anywhere).
That's what it wants you to think.

I know this was sarcasm, but Naofa manipulates people by pretending its charismatic.
    And it works.
I will say it never takes responsibility for what it does unless it is something that'd bring harm to itself.

    Doesn't care otherwise.
It deserves it. It doesn't feel any remorse for what it did.

That should be a sign, if you ask me.
Update: so, that chapter was 14,239 words.

I hope when this one goes live (eta I don't know), I get this comment:

    "Fuck Naofa."
Rib bones are getting...snapped. A very fun time, let me tell you.

I hope I don't get hate for this.
