It depends on how progress with it works. And since I have new heros in R2/S2, I don't need to do that. Plus, I'll do the overworlds myself, the less I have to credit, the better, haha.

With the truck, I always assumed that they took a boat over there, and the moving truck only drove them from the port to Littleroot, and he just rode the rest of the way in the back because there was only room in the cab for the driver and his mom.

Because Nintendo didn't care as much about continuity as they did about promoting their current console, would be my guess haha. Also, by the time RSE came out, I doubt many kids would know what a SNES was. It was there in Fr/Lg since they were for nostalgia anyway, and they didn't get it right anyways because they put in an NES instead of a SNES. At least that's my take on it.

Its an easy thing to overlook though. Another possibility is that they weren't planning on having them be the same year when RSE came out, and decided that later with Fr/Lg but couldn't go back and change it.
