Nevermind, I was thinking about something else, whoops! The traits are just role playing context, I think a few NPCs talk about it not having any impact on stats, etc.

not to nitpick but from what I see in the PBS doc, wouldn't it make sense to make Staraptor a fighting/flying type due to how many fighting moves it gets at that point?

I ment to say this before but I personally feel Flapple and Appletun should have separate evolutions from one another and a different grass type be the grass starter given that, since having Appletun as the final evolution of Applin kind of goes aganst the standard fare of the grass/water/fire dynamic since always theres been tank, powerhouse sweeper, and support as the dynamic for the starters. Now technically the starter choices as they are DO fit that role (especially Krabby since it fits the sweeper role and Numel does very good as a tank with Dull) when Applin first evolves into Flapple its a glass canon rather than first step on the third archetype I pointed out, not to mention Flapple as a pokemon is ment to be a opposite to Appletun. Besides, Flapple's design shifting to Appletun on evolution makes no sense as it somehow gains mass after its previous apple body was consumed to allow it wings?

Figured Id voice my opinion, im having a good time either way.

    3.0 Dev Bulletin 1

    Reflections of Fate
Peer into the crystals, and see your future... or is it your past? Either way, you'll be chilled by the revelations of the Mirror Tundra, a full new dungeon coming in 3.0! Crack the clues of this frigid labyrinth that's the source of Svait's coldness.

    Details Galore
The final layer of polish on Tectonic will take place within homes and buildings across Makya. That's right--interactable objects! Click on bookshelves, televisions, trash cans -- and every other kind of clutter -- to learn bits of backstory, hear a joke, or even receive an item!

    A Fantasy Island
3 secret islands will be newly available in 3.0. These include the Isle of Dragons, a location that is unlocked in a unique way. Don't be deceived by its calming clime--the island is home to some very important Pokémon!

We're Kind of a Big Deal
Over the past couple of months, Pokémon Tectonic has grown quite a lot in popularity! We're super excited by the attention our passion-project has received. The official discord server is now at over 3000 members, and the Tectonic Launcher download link has been clicked over 6000 times to date. Wow! Thank you to everyone that has given our ambitious project a chance.

    3.0 Dev Bulletin 2

    A Land on the Brink
The 2nd of the secret islands coming on 3.0 is Eventide Isle, a land of permanent dusk. Stories of this haunted place are rare, but terrible. You'll need the help of a former Makyan champion to take on the evil which looms over this darkened land...

    We Need Your Thoughts
As we approach the 3.0 release, we want to shore up the balance and design of the over 1000 species available in Tectonic. To do this, we need ~DATA~! For that reason we are now presenting a new survey. Please fill it out if you can!

    Slumbering Dragons
3.0 will launch with a handful of new regional forms, which we'll be showcasing across the next couple of dev bulletins. For our first, feast your eyes on the vewwy sweeeepy dwagons... Makyan Munna and Makyan Musharna!

    3.0 Dev Bulletin 3

    The Hits Just Keep Comin'
There are certain playstyles that GameFreak is content to leave exclusive to Physical or Special Pokémon. If we're to maximize diversity, we have to break these barriers! Therefore in 3.0 we'll be introducing 5 new special multi-hit moves to create playstyles with Skill Link, Loaded Dice, on-hit activation abilities, and the like, on specially attacking Pokémon. Just be sure not to use them against a Hi-Vis Jacket!

    Smarter Every Day
In the process of working on some super-secret post-game battles, we've been inspired towards major upgrades in the AI. Enemy trainers should now be much better at understanding how much threat their Pokémon are facing, especially when deciding who to switch into. They'll be much less likely to just switch in a 'mon that instantly dies to something they should have seen coming. That said, the AI can't account for what it doesn't know. Barring basic STAB attacks, enemy trainers must see your moves in action before it accounts for them in their decision-making.

    Español, Por Favor
The Spanish translation of Pokémon Tectonic is 90+ percent complete! Big thanks to Valrex for his work on this. We're experiencing some technical issues with getting the entirety of the translation to function in-game, but we expect to have those solved either with 3.0 or within the next few weeks after its release.

    Denizens of the Deep
Our second regional forms showcase for 3.0 is a line that has male and female variants, a first for Pokémon Tectonic! Shoutout to Drawingbox who did both the designs and the spritework for these.

The story is complete but we are adding more post game / side content (and doing work to revise/fix the pacing of the main game).

It is a full experience currently and will only get better with future updates!

I hope some pokemon will get a new tribe or two added to their available tribe list, as Skwovet and Greedent in particular definitely need charming at the very least because they're cute rodent pokemon. Being limited only to Scavenger IMO limits them far too much overall, and using the Wild Card on Skwovet/Greedent robs it of its core gimmick.

The story is complete! There are 8 gyms, a championship tournament, and a final boss fight.

We are still adding side content, post game content, and new regional forms in future updates but the game already features a full experience.
