Are there different rules for banner size for vertical signatures? I plan to use one and want to know the max dimensions for one.

It's still the 300px x 500px limit for images. So you'll need to fit the banner into a 300px area.

Is my sig okay? I've been trying to make it smaller while still keeping important stuff there. Also, can you tell me how to figure out the pixel dimensions?

Team Fail - it's actually too tall atm, so hard to say how much pixels you have left (its the spacing that makes it too big).

Team Fail - it's fine bar the fact that the spacing after the text makes it a bit too big. To illustrate:

The box there is 600 by 400, so the bit in it is fine, but note there's line spacing after 'Isshu' that extends beyond the box, so that's what needs to go.

Lyra. - it's fine.
Toa77 - the image is 10 pixels too wide.
