Well it seems that there are some new, news concerning Digimon Xros wars here are 2 new scans of it

V-Jump has come through with a 'boatload' of information regarding Xros Wars.

Various rough translations are made from onkeikun, Anime News Network and Wikimon apparently.

I'm just going to hit the main points.

Four more children have been identified: two boys and two girls.

One set are antagonists (Kiriha Aomema and Nene Amano) work for/are the partners of the evil Greymon and what appears to be second Digimon. (Though whether it's a Xros of Greymon is also debatable).

The remaining two are protagonists pals of Taiki's: Akari Hinomoto and Zenjirou Tsurugi

Akari's Digimon appears to be the pink bunny Digimon, while Barisutamon appears to be Zenjirou's. Dorurumon is sort of hanging around, not with any specific partner, which makes me think if he's supposed to serve a role like Bokomon and Neemon did in Frontier.

The fourth component of Shoutmon X 4 is indeed the 'Starmon'.

Some profile data has been translated:

"Akari Hinomoto - Taiki's childhood friend and one year younger than him. (She supports Taiki) because Taiki is always doing the unreasonable
Taiki Kudou - A hot-blooded 7th grader who saves the weak. He fights with Shoutmon.
Zenjirou Tsurugi - Taiki's classmate and kendo boy who proclaims to be Taiki's "eternal rival". (I think the end says that he is very straight-laced)
Kiriha Aonuma - 7th grader who leads Greymon. He takes down enemies with cold and calculated methods.
Nene Amano - (I can't read her profile very well, all I can make out is that she has a motive for fighting)
As for Starmon, it says he's Shoutmon's "otoutobun" (Shoutmon treats him like a younger brother) who greatly admires Shoutmon, and fights by flying through the air."

A 'clearer' image of Shoutmon X 4 is seen and he looks pretty impressive. Still very mecha themed, sort of a sleeker version of Daigunder with a Lio Convoy motif. (Dorurumon's components coincidently sorta resemble Lio Convoy's Robot Mode).

Shoutmon's attacks have been so far translated as "Digiblast" and "Digistorm", but that's said to be taken as a grain of salt until a clearer scan can be achieved. (Though judging from the scans, it's a no brainer that his attacks likely rely on his staff thingy).

The Digivice is called the Digivice Cross Loader.

A new manga is also coming out, and it is a manga version of Xros Wars which will debut in August in V-Jump. Whether it will be a straight adaption of the anime, or similarly to the old Transformers Masterforce-Zone manga, will go off in a different direction is unknown.

Voices of Taiki, Shoutmon and the other humans have been announced:

Taiki Kudou- Minami Takayama
Shoutmon- Chika Sakamoto
Akari Hinomoto- Ryoko Shiraishi
Zenjirou Tsurugi- Daisuke Kishio
Kiriha Aomema- Takeshi Kusao
Nene Amano- Houko Kuwashima

So we got two veterans returning: Dorumon and Adventure Agumon.
Chika Sakamoto is a surprising return, and while I sorta doubt he'll sound entirely like Agumon did, I'll be interested to see what her interpretation is.

So far the armies seem to be composed of the 'Vikhelmon' (as I like to call 'em) with Taiki's group and new little blue Gible looking Digimon with Greymon's side. There also appears to be a new Pteramon looking Digimon with Greymon. But it's not a very good image, and there's no other data about it so far.

The anime itself will premier on July 6 at 7:27 PM.

I saw the new season of Digimon and I got to say... I don't like the main character he looks badly drawn compared to the past main characters... the same goes for the friends... I miss Data squad... that one had more grown up characters but it seems like they went back to doing younger characters... and they pale in comparison to Sora, Kai, Takuya, Davis, TK, Zoey, ect. Though the main character is the best drawn one from his trio... why are they only making trios now... wonder who would be the fourth one to join them???

...Is anyone other than me reminded of Joy Joy from DW2 when they see Nene? Could be just me though.

The advent of new characters makes me wanna watch it. I don't watch TV much though, so when it eventually gets dubbed, I probably won't get to watch =/

I may watch some fansubs or something when those come out though.

It's a 3 second trailer for Digimon Xros Wars, even though it's 3 seconds it shows us how it basically looks like in the anime. Looks like a scene for the opening if you ask me. :P

looks awesome and we get to see the main digimon that make up Shoutomonx4, also you will notice in the trailer what seems to be an army of humans with guns, preparing for war. That really caught me by surprise, I wonder how that works out in the series.
