I feel I haven't posted here in a while. Sorry! I'll be sure to enter the contest. Certainly allows for a lot of creativity.

  • Good to see there's some interest in the contest. I'll be looking forward to see what you come up with, curiously awaiting which legendary Pokémon will join the region.

Ceriah has had a general policy of being rather reserved in the past in regards to other regions. Though their views are considered by many to be highly progressive, they're made little effort in the past to influence foreign policies and have instead preferred to keep to themselves. This has been changing recently, however, with a precedent being set in modern Raoga.

After reviewing Raoga's policies, Ceriah has been pleased to find that capturing a Pokemon against it's will is not merely looked down upon by society; it's illegal and if reported warrants police intervention to release the Pokemon in question. Pokemon in Raoga, while not having citizen status, must be befriended and not taken against their will. Ceriah is proud to find that this neighboring region places due importance on Pokemon consent.

After some discussion, Ceriah has decided to ally itself with Raoga and will be providing the neighboring region with a shipment of modified Cerian Poke balls in hopes that they'll become the standard in a region that sees little reason to imprison Pokemon.

Ceriah is now Allies with Raoga.

  • Ancient jungle shrine discovered
    By Alina Woods

of the color of the leaves, whose green neared blue. The tree carried fruits I have never seen before. These fruits looked like orange raspberries in the size of a small apple. We didn't dare to taste before letting them being researched on being poisonous. A cave in the deserted part of the jungle isn't the best place to get sick.
But what might be even more important to mention is the wildlife down there. The Pokémon weren't the standard cave dwellers as we know them. They weren't the standard forest dwellers either. Many known Pokémon could be seen here: Shroomish, Zubat, Natu, Remoraid and Baltoy to name a few. What's remarkable is that Baltoy aren't know to live in the central Raogaian forest, they have only been observed to live on Mount Rokk. What's even more remarkable is the presence of a couple of Pokémon that weren't known to be native to Raoga at all. As soon as we entered the forest a Trevenant came to inspect us. After feeling like I was being tickled inside my head for ten seconds it seemed to approve our presence and let us through. Sewaddle and Swadloon were common sights in the trees, as well as some other climbing Pokémon such as Aipom, Treecko, Darumaka and Pancham. Pichu, Pikachu and Growlithe walked around the rocky forest floor. Phantump and Misdreavus floated around between the trees. The caves seemed to be their paradise.
Durman- It was only yesterday when the shrine was discovered in the forest hidden by vegetation. We, my husband and me that is, were walking around in Raoga's central jungle, close to Graytomb, the ghost town in southeast. The temple, that's what it's expected to be, didn't seem so big at first. The large stone doors were unable to open normally thanks to all the moss that grew on them. If it wasn't for Cindy, my Breloom, and her Strength our discovery would be a lot less impressive.
There were many carvings in the walls, but sadly a big part of it had crumbled down and what was still visible were mainly runes we couldn't read. Furthermore a small altar could be seen, the legs of which were shaped as trees, and a trapdoor in the corner. Following a half-broken winding stairway downwards (of which we could only get out afterwards climbing up my husband's fishing rod), a short corridor led us to an enormous cave system. Fascinating as it was, there was another part of forest down there! It included everything you would expect a forest to have: trees, bushes, a lake, forest Pokémon, you name it. It wasn't even dark, as you would expect. Crystals in the walls, ceiling and floor shone into the cave with a dim light. In the center stood one tree which was a lot bigger than the others. It immediately caught our eyes, because

    not raichu oh no

But have the plans ready for my contest entry. It will be three chapter long story involving the discovery of the island. I can't say anything else sense it'll probably change as I write it...

    Strider's Diary - 28/08/15
    Spoiler:

That was a lot longer than I thought it'd be, but it was fun to write it all. I sorta wrote around the stuff Han wrote, I hope you're okay with it. And, obviously, add a female Pichu named Sparx to my roster. (Yes, the Spyro reference is intentional.)

I thought it wouldn't make much sense to stuff Skarmory in an underground forest, but I got you Raichu. (And who knows, maybe Skarmory will appear later in the mountains.)

Thanks, Sven. You have thirty posts to be exact.

I see what you mean. When I write something it works exactly the same way and it's sometimes surprising what directions it goes to. Sounds interesting by the way!

the map didn't show the location and it looked like it was drawn by some random guy in 15 minutes anyway

That... is absolutely true. I got your hint, I'll draw a better version sometime after the island contest has finished.

Haha, I'm glad you picked up on it.

Also I saw you quietly change my party so I have a Pichu instead of a Pikachu, don't think I didn't notice it.

I added Pokémon #25 without thinking, as it used to be the base form, but when I checked it I saw I got the wrong one. I didn't expect you to notice that, it was there just for a minute or two.

Also, before I forget to mention it, Mewtwo is doing things again. Anybody got an idea for something we can do?

I'm actually about to post Ceriah's stuff up soon since I have about half of it written already. If you want maybe you can look at that and get some ideas, or we could do some kind of tie-in since Ceriah is about to be getting attacked and we're right next to you.

    How good is Raoga's military?

Ha, exactly. Even if you map things out, it could still turn out differently than you imagine.

As for Mewtwo-- LOL mega-evolving Mewtwo. That's entirely how mega evolutuon works, bravo. But seriously, I've not a single clue. tbh i haven't read much of the region's history and such, maybe I should do that...

  • Name: Kasey
    Profession/Occupation: Trainer
    Starter Pokémon: Pancham (Male)
Further Details: A trainer who loves to help people and Pokémon out and he loves entertaining both people and Pokémon and putting smiles on their faces. He easily gets nervous around new people he meets, but will easily get to used to them after a while of knowing them. He also easily panics when he hears some bad news or when he messes up.

I may nickname my Pokémon later.
