  • Of course I'm interested in reading your stories! It would be nice to exchange prose again soon. I may also upload fiction on the forum, either High Tide or Sootopolis Songs. Stay safe and well sweetheart. I hope things are holding together at work, also hope you have a peaceful Easter this weekend. Take good care!

    -Sam
I miss you. You mentioned long vming is not your cup of tea right now so if you are not ready to reply no worries. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts. I pray for your health and safety, hope things are holding alright with work and if you need my shoulder to lean on it's there sweetie. Thank you for messaging the writings of Emperor Koko and about Fujiwara no Toshiyuki and the interpretations, it was like a walk through history. And the poetry does feel like spring. I have been writing poems lately, but they are somber. I write about the pandemic. I'm tense, but this experience has added depth to what I create I think.

I love you. I always think of you and leave a heart for you here you to hopefully brighten your day when you login <3

    Hi Shawn,

I hope you are feeling a bit better. /Gives you a hug. Yesterday and this morning weren't easy days for me afraid. I took some of my dad's muscle relaxers from an operation he had awhile ago, used them to ease the sprain. They does help a lot,but they make you want to sleep. I'm feeling a little better now though than I did last yesterday or earlier today. So I wanted to check on you now, and see how you have fared.

I hope your week is nice and calm. I have been doing research about reptiles for Dragon Ascent for our "Real Life Dragon" science segment. I posted some photos and trivia facts about the Draco lizard awhile back, and might revisit this theme adding articles crocodiles, dinosaurs, snakes chameleons and more. I digress though. As I grew to admire so many different wonderful species of wildlife, I learned also about how dragons have been hunted and turned into commodities and sold as food, and used in beauty products. I am starting a new animal activism project for Dragon Ascent, and will be including a petition so that we that PC can-do something to help end the abuse. Check out the thread if you are interested. The links to some of the products we take issue with are in the original post, from dragon tears to canned dragon meat and dragon's blood. I can't believe this still happens in 2020. We have a lot of work to do.

Espeon! Yay! When I first played Pokemon Gold as a wee thing I chose to evolve my Eevee into Espeon. I woke up early morning before school for a Pokemon battle to level him up in the daytime. It was a magical moment. Friendship-based evolution is my favorite way to evolve a Pokemon. What's yours?

While Espeon was my first of the day and night duo I have come to really like both Espeon and Umbreon, and can't chose a favorite. They are different as night and day, and both wonderful in their own unique way.

Yes, cookies are my all time favorite sweet. If you know how make giant, cakey chocolate chunk cookies with runny chocolatey centers then you know how to keep your woman. I also enjoy ginger molasses cookies. Speaking of sweets, I wanted badly to send you muffins on Valentine's Day, but I had trouble finding a shop in Canada that delivered to the area where you live. I have found that it is trickier to get things delivered even when it's all in the same province Ontario than it is to ship goods within anywhere in the USA, except for maybe Hawaii and Alaska. I'm glad you liked the rock garden. I did also think of a bonsai tree and also a Japanese money tree. I hope your plants continue to thrive.

Spring has sprung and so many beautiful things are in bloom. If you see any of your favorite trees in season be sure to share those photographs with The Four Seasons. I know you love your cherry blossom tree. Also the orange neroli fragrance you bought me has inspired me to buy the essential oil--it's so heavenly. It rivals gardenias.

Love you, thought I'd send you a nice long vm <3

I hope you are safe and well sweetheart

    -Sam
Oh could you spoil me a little and give me a sneak preview of Espeon in a photo? It's such a pretty pokemon, I do like the duo of Umbreon and Espeon, and think twin plushies is certainly a clever idea!

Yes, I have a weakness for caramel. I haven't eaten this box just yet because I happened to get some hot chocolate chunk cookies yesterday too, and don't want to overload, but I'll try out that candy soon enough. Umbreon is already sitting on my bed and has joined my other plushies. I have your handwritten card preserved in my card collection where I keep all holiday and birthday cards from loved ones. I also hace the diffuser on my table. I absolutely adore discovering the smell of the orange tuberose, it's so sweet but subtle. We're finally getting a little snow fall today and the scent gives the home such a pleasant touch, and really makes the atmosphere feel warm. You are right it is truly relaxing, thank you again!!
This Valentine card reminds me of the shiny Eevee you gave me when we first started becoming good friends! Thank you for your kind words dearest. I hope you are having a good week so far, and enjoyed Family Day. We actually had a holiday here in the states yesterday, President's Day. It's not a national holiday though like Christmas or Thanksgiving so a good number of us still work, though public schools are closed.

I wouldn't mind using Discord again soon. I just needed a little break from it. I am glad you like the miniature garden. I honestly wanted to get a different one, but the first store I tried didn't deliver to your city. I was a little worried how this replacement would be, but am glad that you like it! Would you be interested in things like bonsai or Jade plants for your house or money trees?

Sending my love and thinking of you!

    -Sam

P.S. I haven't forgotten the bit of business you sent me a pm about. I still received no response. If there's no reply tomorrow either then I think it would be best for us to go forward together if it's still open to me. I'm ready to do the best I can to help fill the space that's been left. Wishing everyone well <3
Dearest, I want to thank you for sending Luvdisc my way. It warmed my heart. *Gives you a hug*

I'll keep this one short because I know you have been super busy, but I still wanted to drop by and share some love. I will be getting in a little later tomorrow night because of a dinner, but I should be home and all free after 9:00 o'clock tomorrow evening if you still want to hear some music with me and cuddle. Let me know if a present from me has arrived. It should be there today. Hope to talk to you soon. <3

    Love you,

    -Sam
I am well sweetheart. /Big hug
I hope that you also are doing great! Keep an eye out for the present I sent you. It's supposed to arrive on or before Valentine's Day, so not much longer now.

Thanks for the assuring message. These are very kind and sensitive words, I am truly touched.

While there have been challenges in my life, there is a great deal that I am thankful, and I see myself as luckier than most at the end of the day. Ultimately our experiences both good and bad make us who we are, and we can learn from our life experiences and become wiser and stronger than we might have otherwise.

I am alright at holding onto money. I can make it stretch if I have to, and usually have a little something left over at the end of the month after the bills are paid to either reward myself or keep in case if an emergency. I'm still a working class girl, but i get by, and am creative with what is affordable but still looks nice. Maybe I can help you find your balance? ^_^

Let me know when you get that condo. I'd love to come visit you. Lots of love Shawn <3

    -Your Sam
Hey love. I thought I would check to see how you are doing. How has your weekend been? I'm going to type to up a proper response soon the private message you sent, but just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and really enjoyed our time together on Saturday. /Holds your hand

    You are wonderful <3
That reminds me of a little vacation I went once as a child. It had been a hard time for me, my parents had divorced, my mother then lost her job and she moved us back in with her parents as she tried to find a better situation. I had to move away from my friends, and go to a different town, leave my old school, then get bullied at a new school. Next my poor grandmother who we came to lived with became ill and died of cancer as my mom nursed. I wasn't doing well in school and things were bleak. During the summer my mom took some of the money she had saved and decided she and I would go on a trip. We went to the beach and she rented a little house on the shore for a few weeks just to get away from it all. She was determined that we have something nice after everything we had been through, even if it was only for a little while. It was one of the happiest times of my childhood. I would walk on the beach everyday, turn the dogs loose on the shore, I'd collect seashells, we'd go buy the catch of the day and she'd cook crabs and fish and all the treasures from the sea.

I tell you about this because you mentioned having all of your essentials. The beach house we rented was set up almost like two different houses connected to each other. It was one house that was two stories, but it was like I had my own house because you had to go outside and cross an outdoor patio to come back and forth between the two levels. I was on the ground level and had my own living room, bed, bath and kitchen. It was really charming.

As for this weekend, things are beginning to settle down. If you want to hang out then send me a message and let me know exactly what you would like to do and let's see if we can work out a time ^_^ instead of just talking about doing something we gotta start planning so we make it happen <3
You mentioned you didn't have to pay rent to me, but not all of the details. A bed and bath + kitchen sounds quaint. Is the place all yours where you have your own house or condo? I'm getting bits and pieces of information, but haven't put together the full picture. It sounds like a delightful neighborhood to live in. Happy exploring! I hope it warms up soon. What I have heard about the winters there from our friend Lina sounds like you are living in the real Snowpoint City it's so chilly. Stay safe and warm dear.

Yes, Princess Kaguya is now a rival to my all-time favorite Spirited Away. Did you know that the pokemon Celesteela is inspired by Kaguya from the literary work the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter which the Studio Ghibli film is based on? Yes, I would like to watch that movie again with you. <3

I am well, thanks! I have been thinking of you today and glad that you wrote me a line. It's a peaceful way to bring my evening to a close.

    -Sam
That's right, I had a ditzy moment there. You have moved, of course! So how do you like your new house and neighborhood?

It's been days I don't even remember what I was baking. Oh well, /cuddles maybe it'll come to me later. Perhaps it was a cheesecake? :)

P.S Love your Princess Kaguya avatar. This is perhaps the most beautiful Studio Ghibli film of all.
Your theme is beautiful! Princess Kaguya is truly a masterpiece. Feels like yesterday I had a similar theme. :)

I know Sam loves it, too! Did you perhaps watch it together?
    /snuggles

Mine will be grew with you too! I'm at your call, just reading the news, lounging around today throwing veggies in my pot for a stew later. How has your day begun? Did you have your Saturday morning run for Chinatown? ^_^
Oh my goodness! I'm a lucky lady! Wasn't expecting this, /kisses your lips
    Surprise me!

Getting ready for a pleasant weekend?
    Dear Sweetheart,

Happy New Year! Our messages are growing-- which I love! It might be awhile before you can write back to the pm I wrote, which is cool. I just wanted to give you a hug for the first day of 2020. I'm feeling much better now, was still sick yesterday but I can really feel a change and sense that this year will be just full of positive energy. Love you, and wishing all good things your way.

    -Sam
