Suggestions I've found on the Internet:
1. There is interference between you and the router. You need to move closer or eliminate the interference.
2.It is sometimes a problem with Nintendo, but also sometimes your router. It could be blocking incoming and outgoing packets to Nintendo. My router has that problem at times and I have to connect twice or reset it.

(These are quotes of people having similar problems)

From what I've seen on Google other people seem to have the same problems, I'm still looking for a solution though.

If you had another DS on hand, you could try using that one if not, I think it's just a temporary problem since you could trade in the past. So if you Google the problem, I'm sure something will come up.

The battling mode seems to work fine. So there must be something wrong with that trading communication. It's not your DS Wifi.

Look at that, I'm glad I told you what version I was going to get. I seriously thought that I could only get Reshiram from Black 2 as it was in Pokemon Black. I didn't know they switched it over.
This means I'm going to get White 2 as well then. :D

Btw, I've got a valuable reservoir of Pokemon in my Gen 4 Heart Gold game.
As you know, one can't trade with Gen 4 before beating the Elite 4, so I'm not able to send any over yet but once I am able to, are there any Gen 4 or earlier Pokemon you're looking for?

Just to name a few, I could give you Deoxys, Manaphy, Lugia, Ho-oh, Mewtwo, all the starters up to the Sinnoh set and many more.
