I'd like them to keep the original gym leaders besides Wallace/Juan, he's too easy, he uses a freaking Luvdisc. A new champion but have a battle with Steven post-game, like in emerald. Reaching out on a limb here, but I would love for a final boss battle against Red, even though he's not ties into RSE at all, I've always liked battling Red. Oh, and buff up the leaders and league's levels a bit.

  • I want Gyms and E4 to be actually difficult. XY was the easiest nonsense ever and E4 didn't even have upgraded Pokemon after you beat them the initial time.

I'm thinking a Mega Evo for each E4 Leader and maybe you can go back and rebattle all the Gyms post-game but the Gym Leaders will have upgraded Pokemon and a Mega Evo as well. I WANT MORE POST-GAME CONTENT.

Also, I REALLY. REALLY. want a partner who's Pokemon grow at the same rate as yours. Then you can't sweep them with a lv90000000 Rayquaza as they attempt to f*** you up with a lv12 Bidoof.

I really do understand that Pokemon is targeted for kids but nowadays, a large majority of the kids in the targeted age group think Pokemon is childish/"gay" and I feel like with a growing complexity to the game, they should look to target young adults who played Pokemon their whole life rather than trying to introduce a game to a new generation of kids.

  • I will like to see Wallace as gym leader so that Steven may be champ. Or maybe Wallace will be post game champ(?) and we get to rematch Steven at Meteor Falls.

  • I'd like some backstory on Phoebe, Drake, Glacia, and Sydney. They weren't even mentioned until you were breaking down the E4's door. Especially Phoebe. With clothes like that, you NEED some explanation.

I want redesigns on all the leaders as well, as I thought their clothes were sort of bland. I also want Marlon to make a cameo somewhere, as he's probably from Hoenn.

I think they should change the order of the gyms a bit. Maybe put in Brawly first, Wattson secnd and Norman third. Roxanne could be the forth and Flannery the fifth. After that, there's no more change, except for Wallace/Juan. I really don't want to see those two jokers again.

Because come on. Have you seen the amount of ladies they're hiding away under their gym?

  • I want them to keep the current lineup when it comes to the Gym Leaders. But make them a challenge. That's the one thing that lacked severely for me in BW/B2W2 and XY. None of them were a challenge. Gym Leaders are supposed to be very skilled trainers, top trainers in fact. That fact needs to reverberate within me more when I battle them. I want to get thwarted by them time and time again, I want to rage at my 3DS because they got some absurd critical hit or used another Hyper Potion. I want gym battles to be fun.

Likewise with the Elite Four. More so with the Elite Four really, they're the top 4 trainers in the whole region, they should have a team of six with devastatingly powerful attacks and stats. They also should be smarter.

I have BIG expectations of these games, considering how good RSE were and how horrible XY were. I just don't want to get myself too excited over something I think won't happen, haha. d:

    And yes to Wally being the new Champion! ;O;

  • If Remakes, I'm seeing the same except Sootopolis which could be Wallace on OR and Juan on AS or vice versa and E4 is the same with Steven as Champion

If Sequels or brand new storyline

    > Norman [or Brendan (OR) or May (AS)] = Petalburg City
    > Roxanne = Rustboro City
    > Someone new = Dewford Town
    > Wattson = New Mauville City (possible gym relocation)
    > Someone new = Fallarbor Town (Lavaridge possibly destroyed by eruption)
    > Winona = Fortree City
    > Tate & Liza = Mossdeep City
    > Brawly = Pacifidlog Town (another gym relocation etc)

    and for E4

    > Phoebe
    > Flannery
    > Sidney
    > Glacia

and Drake as Champion with Steven as the final trainer like in Emerald.

  • I want that because FR/LG and HG/SS stayed true to the original games by keeping the original Gym Leader lineups.

Also, I wouldn't consider Norman as the worst lineup because:
-two Slaking are incredibly hard to deal with at that point of the game, even with Truant.
-His Pokemon lineup changed in Emerald to have Linoone, Spinda, Vigoroth and Slaking

Still, Norman was using 2 Pokemon from the same family, so Vigoroth could've been replaced by another Normal type. I could care less about the difficulty based on two Slaking, I just want him to use only one for the sake of type diversity. FR/LG and HG/SS staying true to their original games were why those remakes are still inferior to the newer titles in terms of type diversity, and why I fear OR/AS will suffer the same fate, unless GF breaks their tradition of changing their lineup post-game.

I want Norman to be a E4 member of Hoenn .
I want a new 17 year old handsome champion who dress like a High-school Bad boy and wear an Earphone . (No Pieing)

It is confirmed OR/AS are remakes, not sequels.

I hope they expand the Pokedex with evolutions introduced in Gen IV. Phoebe can have a Dusknoir and Glacia can have a Froslass. I hope GF includes all of the evolitions, instead of including 3 like in HG/SS.
If Mega Evolutions are added to the game, the E4 can have them. Sydney using Mega Absol, Phoebe Mega Banette, Glacia perhaps new Mega Glalie/Walrein and Drake Mega Altaria. Steven of course Mega Aggron.

And another hope; please add difficulty modes to the game! Just like BW2. The Gym Leaders can have exyra Pokemon, like Brawly using Heracross and Winona using Tropius.

  • I hope they keep the same roster as exact in the originals, yes even Glacia having two Sealeos and two Glalies. Will be interesting to see what Pokemon the E4 and Gym rematches get, since RSE there have been plenty of new Pokemon and evolution of certain Hoenn Pokemon.

  • I wonder if they'll keep the set order or have us pick which one we get to fight. I just hope they handle it better than Gen V and XY have done.

  • I would like the Gym Leaders and Elite Four to have updated looks, like clothing and stuff like that. I think it would be awesome. Also, of course I would like to see updated Gym and Elite Four puzzles. Maybe update some roasters a bit too?

In terms of replacements, I don't want to see anyone replaced. The idea of Norman being in the Elite Four is pretty cool though, so maybe Wally can take his place as the Petalburg City Gym Leader? That'd be cool

  • I'd like to see the Elite Four get some more diversity (particularly Phoebe and Glacia, and perhaps Draken a little bit), and I'd like to see Steven as the champion instead of Wallace. Otherwise, they can all stay the same.

  • Well, I actually am really fond of ALL the League members. But as for changes, it depends. If it is a sequel from last time, I still want the opportunity to battle my dad. Because quite frankly, that was awesome. Secondly, I would want a brand new champion. I never played Sapphire or Ruby, so it never stuck with me that Steven was the champion. He was just the cool guy that got me a Kecleon and a Steel Wing TM. And while I never hated Wallace, I certainly wasn't fond of him. He made my life more difficult then it had to be with his Milotic, even if I did like his flashy speeches. So, all in all, new champion. Wally as a champion would be AMAZING!

I would love for Tate and Liz to still be a double battle gym. They gave me a lot of trouble, but it's one of my favourite gyms, even now. One thing I do wish for is more info on the Elite Four. I have a preference to Sidney, but that's just because he looked cool to me as a kid, and has a Mightyena. But I would really like to get to know them a bit better this time around; why did Phoebe choose Ghost types, what region did Glacia come from, why is Drake so awesome? Finally, I really wish there would be a dark type gym. Has anyone else noticed that we have NEVER had one? We've had plenty of Dark type Elite Four members (Karen, Sidney and Grimsley), why not a dark type gym?

Yeah I'd like to see them keep Steven like in the original Ruby and Sapphire, probably because he's more of a challenge than Wallace is. Wallace didn't have much diversity with his team and could be easily destroyed by a combination of Electric and Grass moves.

Steven, despite being a Steel specialist didn't really have an all-Steel team which was pretty diverse as expected for a champion. He had only half his team in the originals be Steel-types (Skarmory, Aggron and Metagross) while the other half was Claydol and the Hoenn fossil lines (Armaldo and Cradily).

I think whoever the champion for Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire will have a Mega Evo for their signature Pokemon, just like Diantha and her Gardevoir. So if it's Steven, it would be a Mega Metagross, or if it was Wallace, Mega Milotic.

Or maybe both...? Dunno, I'm pretty ok with the rosters of the Elite 4 though. The rematches with the Gym Leaders and the Pokemon League will undoubtedly have new Pokemon (like Sidney gets Bisharp or something).

  • the hoenn elite four!

So i was thinking about how recent generations have had a sort of courtyard where you can choose which order to face the elite four in, but 3rd gen had the elite four in a set order. So what do you think will happen?

Also do you expect any roster or even member changes?

Personally i think pheobe will get a dusknoir.
The ice one will get a froslass
( of course assuming we get cross gen evos)
i dont like in emerald how wallace was champiin and the last gym was the same type as his.( like gen 2)

I do like the choose your order thing as well, so i hope they include that.
