    Reuniclus HP 540

    Hi

    Have a Reuniclus
    pokemon.com/us/trading-cards/database/bw-series/bw1/57/

But the HP is 540 instead of 90 as on the link above.

So does this have a value?

Sounds very much like a fake. Can you upload a picture of it as an attachment to your next post? There is no official version of Reuniclus that has 540 HP, but I want to see if it's a misprint or not, although I personally don't think it's a misprint.

donavannj, any luck on the pricing of those cards? I am still going through cards at the moment trying to make it easier for you. I have looked at general ebay prices, but still not sure on details. :)

I completely forgot about them and I've been pretty busy with schoolwork offline. I will try giving you some prices this weekend. If you can re-post them with their sets that would be nice, since it would cut out some of the work on my end. Bebessearch.com has card prices in their database of cards, but I'm not sure where they're pulling their prices from. You would want to click "Show Cards from All Sets" at the bottom of that page.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that is a fake. The actual Reuniclus card does not have a retreat cost of 5, and the colorless energy symbols used in that retreat cost do not match up with the colorless energy symbols on other cards from the set, as there is no space between the points of the star and the outside of the circle and the symbol just is too 2-dimensional compared to the other energy symbols on the card as well as what the colorless energy symbol looks like on other cards from the set. Basically, it looks like someone just pasted on a new retreat cost and a new HP and then printed it off and glued it onto the original card itself.

There are also several other textual errors throughout the card that tell me it is a fake card.

firstly sorry for my English. I´m from Spain and I had another card like this. this is a real card this isn´t a fake. it probably be a print error. My card is in bad condition because I wash it in the washing machine.

  • Does your card have the holofoil pattern in the background of the picture? I don't see that in the picture. I'm still skeptical it's real, particularly because of the font the HP total is in.

I do not know what you mean exactly with the holofoil pattern in the background of the picture. I found this post because I was looking if it was possible or not this card. I understand your skepticism but I assure you it is true. sorry again for my English but I don´t know if I'm writing well

How much is a 1st edition Base Set holo Charizard worth?
I remember seeing them sell for $120 when I was a kid.

  • Depends on its condition and which one it is, but here they are:

Shadowless (without a shadow around the box for the picture): $150.00
With Shadow (though there might not be one with a shadow for first edition): $75.00

That's taking into account the prices for it on eBay.

Non first edition is worth between $15 and $20 at the moment.

Price check of my Pokemon TCG cards

Hello guys, I was just curious about the price of my Pokemon cards. I am here to do some sort of price check, please reply in this thread the prices and what you think :)

    Here are my cards:

    1. Charizard Rare Holo-Foil
    Code: 100/97

Given out to participants of Battle Road Spring 2004 in Japan. Also in the EX Dragon Expansion.

    2. Entei Rare Holo-Foil
[This is the first reverse holographic card released outside Japan]

    Code: 34 (First Edition)

It is part of the Black Wizards Stars Promo.

    3. Lugia Rare Holo-foil [*H]

    Code: 9/111

It is part of the Neo Genesis deck.

    4. Ho-oh Rare Holofoil [*H]

This Ho-oh's name is spelt wrongly. It was only found out in Generation III that Ho-oh should be Ho-Oh

    Code: 7/64

That's about it. Thanks in advance :D

The prices change for 1st Edition printings of Lugia and Ho-oh.

    Story time!

A while ago I was at a garage sale and came across a shoebox filled with Pokemon cards. A lady told me that they use to belong to her grandson, who never bothered to take them when he moved away from home. I remember collecting a few cards back in the day so I decided to buy them more for nostalgic purposes. After looking through them I could see that the previous owner was quite a serious collector and they all seem to be cards from the late 90s - early 00s (base - neo genesis I think?). Ever since then I've been hooked into collecting all of the older series. For the past month I've been doing some research on the cards, but quickly found out there are all sort of different errors, printing runs and sets.

So basically here are couple of pictures of what I found and what friends have told me have some value. The cards are all in really good condition (all of the holos were put in hard cases). If someone could give me a rough idea of what I was looking at that would be great. I should I go with that people are selling on Ebay? Prices for Charizards and 1st editions go all over the place. Also if there are any super rare cards that were produced during those sets I can take a look for. I might make another post to put up more pictures later on if I have enough time.

    Cheers everyone!

P.S I don't know how the heck he managed to get those Misty's Seadras. They all say prereleased and there must be over 100 of them.

Edit: Is there a chance that they could be fake?

  • HOLY CRAP THAT'S A LOT OF FREAKING MISTY'S SEADRA. I also don't think I've ever seen that many Charizard in one place. Or that many of the E3 Pikachu, or that many first edition Raichu for that matter.

With those you might get a better deal by going to sites that allow you to trade cards. Though some are actually going to be worth getting PSA graded. Especially that E3 Pikachu.

Also, what is that last Pikachu on the bottom right of that picture? I see red cheeks but no first edition? Is it an E3 one or a regular one? Your answer is critical to determining if you've got a rarity on your hands or not.
Also, are those other two Charizard on the right first edition or not? As a matter of fact, are any of the hidden Charizard first edition?

    Prerelease Misty's Seadra: $3-$6.
    E3 Pikachu (ungraded): $9-$15.
1st Edition Red Cheeks Pikachu (ungraded): $20-$25. PSA 10 Graded: $59-$69.
Shadowless Charizard (ungraded): $45-$65. PSA Graded: $100+
Charizard (ungraded): $10-$20 PSA Graded: $40
Base Set 2 Charizard (ungraded): $15-$25 (a bit harder to find than it's Base Set counterpart due to this set not being as popular)
Magneton First Edition (ungraded): $65-$75 (whoa geez that's ridiculous if you ask me)
Machamp shadowless: $8-$10 (only available as a First Edition - came in every Starter Set deck)
Dragonair First Edition (ungraded): $15-$20 PSA 10 Graded: $40+
Zapdos First Edition (ungraded): $60-$70 PSA 10 graded: $90-$130
    Gyarados First Edition (ungraded): $65-$90
    Poliwrath First Edition (ungraded): $60-$90
Chansey First Edition (ungraded): $60-$70 PSA Graded: $100
    Raichu First Edition (ungraded): $60-$90

Price ranges are kind of large because with such a small sample size the prices are constantly in flux, but the market value of what you can expect someone to buy it for is somewhere in there.

PSA grading is expensive and is done by http://www.psacard.com/ . It can increase the value of your card dramatically if you get it graded, though.
