I think I changed mine using UNLZ-GBA and there's also a tutorial here that tells and shows how to replace oak's intro sprite. There is also a tutorial here on how to make a script tile That script tile.

It's not hard to tell since there are helpful tools to tell which tiles that has those specific palettes such as the block editor. All you need is time. It's not hard, it's just time consuming. You'll get used to it once you get good results, mate.

Try making a copy and test if it does. I've only made tile changes so I don't think it will overwrite through your progress, well that's what I think.

No. You'll only have to follow the titlescreen size based on my posts. I'll be doing the color changes on your titlescreen which won't affect huge changes btw

There are tutorials around the forum but this is the best tutorial I found on youtube. QBfYdb87eco Using NSE 2.X, the method he used is the method I also use. FireRed or Emerald.
